Well, since you haven't posted again on that night, it's safe to guess you didn't finish it yet? (No rush, DJ.)

Okay, I'm going back to read chapter 7 now. Time to color code verbals, edit wording, and bold names. :)
-------------
Great job! I finished the later chapter, which will involve a team of at least 4. Also, like I told you before, be prepared for something new since the use of the first 'bad word' in your last chapter. :P It's time to introduce a new item to the tale, as well as a new concept, and a new spell. >_<

Also, all 3 of the current 'top' RS Tales now have their chapter links, character sheet links, and vote links added; for easier voting and reference for all users.

Chapter 8
Trouble brewing

SLASH! Another guard down. These guards stood no chance to the armored behemoth that was decapitating their members. Most of them realized this, and the would-be heroes were struck down time and time again. The thing that the guards were scared of most is that he fought in complete silence, including when someone’s blade actually came in contact with his flesh, drawing wounds, and causing him to bleed. Eventually, the guardsmen had no more strength to defend. The stranger, although hated by the guards, was allowed in the north gate of Falador.

Now bitten by a curiousness and anger, he headed toward the east bank. Once there, Coldfire was met by a troupe of White Knights, armed to the teeth. This fight would definitely be harder. The knights were supposed to keep Falador peaceful. Guards only function is to keep problems out.

Why are you here?” one of the White Knights said.

He was obviously the leader, because he was the only one without a helmet.

I come to seek a better understanding of combat. To seek out champions, fight and kill them. I also come looking for my past.Coldfire stated.
You have not answered my question” the leader said.
It will come to you in due time. I will be staying in the local Falador inn. Please don’t try and jump me, because I understand that you are meant to stop bloodshed and.. ahh, never mind. I will meet you here in a week. That is how long you have... Good luck.

There was a hint of sarcasm in his voice at the last sentence.

Coldfire headed into the distance. A number of people were there gossiping and trading. A noob came up to Coldfire, begging him for some gold pieces or something of worth.

Unless you would like a Mithril sword to cave in your skull, I shan’t spare you anything.Coldfire shot back at the new player. Since he woke up in varrock, he hadn’t remembered anything that had happened to him before. If he had friends, he’d no contact with them, and they had not contact with him, or seemed not too have attempted to. His attitude had also changed. He wanted to know what had happened, but he could think of no way how to. Because of this, he was no longer moody and funny, but cold, hard and angry.

Finally reaching his room, he pulled out a number of keys, found a large brass one and slid it into the door knob of inn room number 13. This reminded his of something in the back of his mind, but he could not make any idea of why. Coldfire shrugged, and yanked open the door, then went inside.

Fresh in the morning, Coldfire donned his armour once again, and went to train on something that could actually give him a challenge. Black Knights were easier than White Knights because their hearts were twisted evil, doing anything possible to bring Falador back under their control. To them, scheming was more important than combat mastery. That was why Coldfire was here. To learn true combat mastery. On his way out, the guards eyed him eagerly to make sure he was leaving for good, but his knapsack looked too light to be traveling out of Falador for ever.

On his way to the castle where the Black Knights lived, high upon mountain top, near to the start of the barren Wilderness, Coldfire saw many things. Monks, dwarfs, PKers and an oracle. She was higher upon the mountain, and he wondered what she did up there, but did not dwell on it.

The Black Knights were harder once he fought them, they seemed protective of something, bound to not let him in the castle. He fought the knights till dusk, slaying many, going to monks when he needed to get his wounds healed. At the end of a bloody war between a seemingly invincible man, and an army of castle habitants, it seemed al least one of their goals still stood. Coldfire had not fallen, and the castle remained imprenetrible.

The loot that Coldfire got out of this was massive. Many steel and iron bars, over 4,000 gold pieces and many magical runes. Retreating from today’s slaying, Coldfire started on his way back to Varrock. He rummaged though his knapsack to find something to examine, and learn more about, and found a law rune. These runes held powers of teleportation and telekinesis. He held it out in front of him, he felt a mild burning sensation pulsing thought his veins. The runes power was slowly over whelming him, because of the large quantity that he had. The pain needed to stop, Coldfire was loosing consciousness. He closed his eyes, hoping that the pain would just go away. The burning lessened almost as soon as he closed his eyes. Opening his left eye a tiny bit, he found that he was back inside his room!

Only powerful mages could teleport. They even find it hard to do it on the spot. Some mages are found miles away from the city that they want to go to. Coldfire, whom had no training whatsoever, had just teleported right into the inn room. But, there was something strangely odd. This wasn’t his room. He quietly walked to the door, opened and checked out side, low and behold there was a brass number 13 hanging above the door, at the end of the hallway.

He slid out of the room, and headed down to his own room, he heard voices from downstairs. He didn’t care anymore, all he wanted to do was to get back, lock his door and rest.

He should have been back by now!” he heard a voice shouting downstairs.
This should have been the time that he would be back by now!” he heard a second voice, which was unmistakably the inn-keeper.

Coldfire couldn't stand this. Always being talked about, hunted down and wanted. He went in to his room, then gathered his belongings. He opened a window. There was a large oak tree just outside. He put the money needed for staying the night on his bed, and grabbed on to a sturdy branch, swung himself down onto the ground.

He trekked down hill to the general store, bought a sleeping bag, and headed outside of Falador’s walls. He absolutely loathed sleeping on the cold, hard earth, but much more of this was to come.

By the way, it is considered a 'bad' word by JAGeX. Notice most except 2 ways are blocked when you try to type it in various different ways in RS. Must be something with that word for them to care so much.

DJ Master: Nice chapter. I like how to make a very interested lead-on, to buy Raven6666 some more time to scheme a way to intertwine the 2 tales. ;)

As for the chapter I wrote, it won't be going in anytime soon. It will be after we have 4 people in Coldfire's party again. Also, we will need a new guy (or some lower level player with lack of combat mastery), and 1 mastery mage (besides Coldfire.. of course).
