So looking over the rules, it says under Team Roster that a player must be contracted by a NHL team to be eligable. Is this the same with prospects? There is a player I want to sign that was skipped over during this years draft.

I realize that he is not from North America, so he has to be drafted before signed regardless. But does this league follow the same rule as the NHL does regarding players over the age of 20? Or can I sign him like any other player to prospects.

If it's Kuchin I tried to draft him but wasn't allowed so I'm assuming he wouldn't be eligible as a free agent

Its not Kuchin.

So players that don't get drafted or signed but are playing independently can't be signed? Prospect or Player?

If the player is draft eligible for 2010 after not getting drafted in 2009, he can't be signed. The player has to be drafted, or become a free agent before becoming eligible in our league.

Well I will just give you the player and someone can tell me if he is eligable or not. And I hope no one tries to be a douche.
