Member Posts: 17 Group: Members Member #66 Joined: July 13, 2009	So looking over the rules, it says under Team Roster that a player must be contracted by a NHL team to be eligable. Is this the same with prospects? There is a player I want to sign that was skipped over during this years draft. I realize that he is not from North America, so he has to be drafted before signed regardless. But does this league follow the same rule as the NHL does regarding players over the age of 20? Or can I sign him like any other player to prospects.

Nashville Posts: 2,076 Group: Admin Member #9 Joined: May 10, 2006	If the player is draft eligible for 2010 after not getting drafted in 2009, he can't be signed. The player has to be drafted, or become a free agent before becoming eligible in our league.
