Let's vote on whether the waiver time length is to long. It is currently one week and I believe this is to long. My opinion. But I do not think it should be to short in fairness to all GM's. Thought I'd create this poll and see what the majority of the GM's think. |

one week is a pretty standard time frame for waivers in these fantasy leagues. It makes sense as roster changes are also done weekly. These leagues are run by people who volunteer there time in the name of fun. These ideas of yours are just making more work for no real gain. ( you slave driver !
 ) I appreciate the enthusiasm, but it really isn't something that will work over a long period of time. |

Slave driver. Ouch! I would disagree with you as a week being standard. I've been in several leagues over the years and this is the first league I've been in that the waiver period was longer than 3 days. Most are 48 hours in my experience. I would also point out that I think it's more work to keep track of claims over a week than a few days. But it does depend on how many teams put in claims. I think the league GM's will decide and I'm good with whatever the decision is. Like I said in another post I'm not the guy doing the work. I think that person or person's should have a lot more say as they are dealing with the issues. I believe whatever is fair and works well is the way we should go. Remember there is nothing wrong with change if it makes the league better. As far as long term I'm in a league that's in it's 4th year and we have a 48 hour waiver time which works well and there has never been a suggestion to change it. You can only release 2 players per waiver period which again no issues. Just thought I'd add this info. |

i didnt read any other posts but we have shorter waivers it promotes managers to go online more frequent. imagine a manager is on every day for 7 days and claims a player on the first day and then seems to have gotten him and on the last day a manger who goes ononce a month claims him, receives the player then doesnt go on for a while. make it like 2 to 3 days MAX. |
