Canon/Original: Canon Premade Codename: Bullseye Real Name: Lester (Last Name Unrevealed) Nickname: Benjamin Poindexter (it's an alias) Age: Unrevealed but appears to be in his early to mid 30s. Gender: Male Race: Human Appearance: Lester stands a nice 6' tall and before his spine was implanted with Adamantium to fix his broken vertabrae after falling from a roof top, weighed 175 lbs but now the Adamantium implants weigh him down slightly more as he now is at 200 lbs. Though it's rarely seen as he shaves his head clean of his hair, his hair is blonde and if he allows it to grow out, it's an extremely short length, no longer than an inch and a half and his eyes are a piercing blue. Clothing: Bullseye sports a dark blue, full body combat suit with white boots, white gloves and a white bull's eye that wraps around his chest, over his shoulders and across his back. His mask is sewn into the suit and leaves an opening for his mouth, chin, nose and eyes. On the "forehead" of his mask is a perfect bull's eye as if it's there to tell his potential enemies "This is where you shoot to kill." He rarely is ever seen in anything other than this and if he is, it's merely because his suit is at the cleaners, although he always has a spare somewhere. Weapons / Armor / Gear: Any object in Bullseye's hands could be considered a weapon. Mostly, he will use guns and knives. Skills / Education/ Training: Lester has the uncanny ability to use virtually any common object as a lethal projectile actually makes him more dangerous than many characters who do have superhuman powers. Although he is not technically superhuman, Bullseye can accomplish many feats with thrown projectiles. He has demonstrated the ability to lacerate a person's throat with a thrown playing card, spit his own tooth through a human skull, toss a paper airplane to a distant rooftop, and kill a person with a toothpick thrown through a window from a hundred yards away. Bullseye is in overall exceptional physical condition, with the agility, reflexes, stamina, and speed of a professional or Olympic athlete. A result of his naturally perfect athletic gift for hand-eye coordination is that his reflexes are actually honed to a level well beyond that of any normal human. He is physically strong enough to lift at least 350 pounds. Several of Bullseye's bones have been reinforced with strips of Adamantium, and his spine is now entirely made of it, effectively increasing his resistance to injury in unarmed combat. This reinforcement also allows Bullseye to consistently utilize a range of motion in his acrobatic maneuvers impossible for an ordinary human (as his bones are protected from fracture). Aside from his ability to throw projectiles with lethal accuracy, Bullseye is also a master of many martial arts disciplines and is extremely talented in the use of edged weapons and conventional firearms. Often, his outspoken attitude during combat about using his abilities seems to have become one of his favorite weapons: intimidation. As such, he believes that his attention in the media grants him more effectiveness in combat with a near flawless reputation, rather than an assassin who often uses fear of the unknown. Powers: None Weakness: Due to the mental torture from Daredevil in the past, Bullseye fears of being paralyzed. This fear of being paralyzed again can sometimes effect how much he hesitates to take a jump over a rooftop or anything that could potentially paralyze him. He also has an insatiable hatred for Daredevil and Electra. If he has it his way, the Thunderbolts would be hunting them down, at which point he would demand the opportunity to kill them both. It's this insatiable hatred for the two that can lead him to temporarily become distracted within a mission thus leaving himself vulnerable to an attack which he would have otherwise seen coming. Personality: Lester is extremely arrogant and cocky when it comes to his battle tactics. Even in a regular conversation he shows signs of extreme cockiness, which to some can be a bit nerving. All in all, he is always wanting to prove he's the best assassin/mercenary that money can buy and when someone shows they are better than him, he becomes furious and obsessed with finding a way to be better than them. History: A mercenary of mystery, nothing was really known about the man called Bullseye. Once, he was captured and interrogated in a highly secured U.S. prison, and he related many details about his early life, such as the time his brother set fire to their home in an attempt to kill their father. However, much of this information is suspect, as Bullseye then escaped, taunting his interrogators that much of what he said was false -- especially the fact that it was not his brother who set fire to the house, it was himself. Bullseye proceeded to set fire to the prison, where his father was also held, and he left his father to die once more. (In a previous account of his childhood, he painted a bulls-eye on the forehead of his abusive father when he was passed out from drinking and shot him). Before his mercenary career, it’s been suggested that Bullseye tried his formidable throwing skills to become a Major League baseball player, but he was too selfish and sadistic. According to Bullseye himself, he grew bored and annoyed whilst pitching a no-hitter and for the last pitch of the game he threw the ball at the batter, killing him. Instead, Bullseye found his true calling as a special operative of the United States National Security Agency, then soon after as a freelance assassin-- a perfect career for someone who got so much pleasure from the killing of his enemies. He created his signature modus operandi of using thrown weapons during one of his first outings as a soldier -- a guerrilla fighter got the drop on him and Bullseye’s weapon failed to shoot. He threw the gun instead, killing his assailant with his bayonet. Bullseye first came to notoriety with a series of extortion attempts and murder in New York City, publicizing his antics by agreeing to an interview with The Daily Bugle. Bullseye fought and defeated Daredevil’s attempt to stop him, although the hero soon tracked him down and prevented Bullseye's extortion schemes. Since then, Bullseye has been well known for his crime, being a villain most notably to Daredevil and Elektra. Unfortunately, Bullseye was eventually captured and held in a S.H.I.E.L.D. prison Civil War/Battle of New York: Bullseye was chosen by Maria Hill to be able to get out of prison and to work for S.H.I.E.L.D. a bomb was then implanted in Lester's head for in case he would attempt to betray S.H.I.E.L.D. Due to this, Lester was joined with the Pro-Registration forces. Fortunately for Lester, he managed to escape during the Chitauri's attack on New York. A New Reign: Lester had managed to align himself with the Hand as S.H.I.E.L.D. was dismantaled. With the Hand's connections, Lester was able to get the chip/bomb removed from his head. Being a free man, Lester began to lead teams of the Hand ninjas to deal with the usual crimes and giving the likes of Daredevil and Elektra a hard time in Hell's Kitchen. Until one night, he was approached and cornered by Norman Osborn and a large team of H.A.M.M.E.R. agents. Being taken into custody, Norman Osborn once again offered him a deal that he would turn a blind eye to Bullseye and the Hand's actions as long as he would join the likes of Osborn's spec ops team, the Dark Avengers. Lester did not hesitate to accept as one, he had no choice. Two, more freedom to kill both on the streets and in secret. To keep his identity secret amongst any enemies of the Dark Avengers, Lester wears a Hawkeye costume for kicks and giggles. However, when in public as a villain, Lester is known as Bullseye, with no trace of H.A.M.M.E.R. getting in his way.
