Canon/Original: Canon Premade Codename: Star-Lord Real Name: Peter Jason Quill Nickname: Star Lord, The Starlord Age: 32 Gender: Male Race: Human/Spartoi hybrid Appearance: Peter Quill's build is that of a toned thirty-two year old. He stands six feet two inches tall and weighs one hundred and seventy-five pounds. His features are that of what Adolf Hitler would have referred to as the 'perfect human specimen', as he also has ocean blue eyes and blonde hair. Clothing: Starlord's costume's appearance is much of the suit from the movie "The Rocketeer" if it were combined with a British Officer's uniform from World War 1. Normally, it is blue with red trimming and silver accents on the symbol in the center of his chest and around the trim of the helmet, but has also been blue with silver trimming and accents. His suit has also been blue with white trimming and accents as well. Overall, the suit has a British appearance due to the 'Lord' in his namesake with a retro-futuristic look to it with World War 1 elements. It is not quite a form-fitting costume, as it has sharp edges and strong silhouettes. His boots have chaps that snap around the bottom of the boot to further give him the appearance of a British officer. The helmet's visor, when in battlemode, begins to glow and radiant light, and also features a retractable visor. Weapons / Armor / Gear: The suit Quill wears grants him the ability of flight, in which he can travel at light speed while in space, and can sustain life in space. It is worth noting that the suit may have altered his physical structure as he no longer requires the helmet of the suit or any other life support to sustain life in absolute zero, airless vacuum. He also has an enhanced healing ability and utilizes personal energy shields. If he were to be injured beyond his ability to recover from said injury, Ship is able to administer emergency medical or surgical care. Star Lord's strength has also been augmented. He is capable of lifting between 10 and 20 tons with little effort. Quill also has augmented resiliency and durability. He won't quit til the task at hand is completed (resiliency), and his durability is such that he is able to take an onslaught of attacks from high-powered enemies such as Blastaar or Thanos without critical damage to himself. He wields a weapon known as an "Element Gun", which is able to generate and manipulate the four ancient elements: Earth, Air, Fire and Water. The gun also serves as a portal in space that draws upon the elements from a planet. The gun's ammunition is practically limitless, but removal of excessive amounts of one form may upset the balance of the planet he is closest to, thus causing catastrophic consequences. The only limits to the Element Gun are by Star Lord's will, focus and imagination. Starlord also has used an energy rifle, of which the ammunition consists of an unlimited supply of an unknown energy, a rapier made of a metal not yet known to Earthlings and is very durable, as well as other types of guns and swords. He is also psionically linked to Ship, which is a sentient being. Skills / Education/ Training: Peter is incredibly atheletic, an expert marksman and swordsman, highly proficient in hand-to-hand combat, a master of languages, a master strategist and problem solver. He also has extensive knowledge on human and alien firearms, battle techniques, and alien customs, societies and cultures. Peter also has gained knowledge on cosmic abstracts such as Oblivion, Eternity, Infinity and Death. Powers: Peter is half human and half Spartoi. Due to this, his hybrid physiology grants him peak human abilities such as peak human strength, durability, agility, stamina, and longevity as Spartoi have a life span three times longer than a human from earth. Peter also has an enhanced mental process, which he can process information quickly. Due to this, he has mastered many alien languages and customs without any issue. Weakness: While Star Lord is a formidable opponent, he does have his weaknesses. Most notably would be with the use of his Element Gun. If his will or focus are broken, the gun will malfunction and misfire. If his personal shields are not up, he can be harmed or even killed by stabs, slashes, bludgeoning, or gun shots. He also does not have any psychic resistance at this time, meaning that a telepath could enter his mind, even though he has a strong one in which he could attempt to fight the mental intrusion. Personality: As the enlightened Star-Lord he became transformed into a champion of the just. This pulp-style hero seemed to be an icon larger than life. A hero for the underdog and the exposed. He travels the universe and rights wrongs wherever he sees injustice being done, at the same while he is studying the secrets of space. Before becoming the Star-Lord, Peter Quill was a ruthless man caring only for his own freedom and getting into space. He has dreamed about space all his life and there was nothing he wanted more than becoming an astronaut. He performed many an irrational act during his years on Earth, and his arrogance earned him many enemies. As he wasn't selected to become an astronaut, despite being the greatest student at the NASA academy, he took matters into his own hands and even mortally wounded some guards without remorse to be the one to become the Star-Lord. History: Peter Quill is the hybrid offspring of a human mother, Meredith Quill, and a Spartoi father, Jason of Sparta. He was born during an outrageously unusual astronomical phenomenon when the planets aligned. Quill's father, upon his birth, accused Peter's mother of infidelity and attempts to kill him, but instead, dies of a sudden heart attack. Peter is then raised by his mother until she is killed by an alien assassin. He is then placed in an orphanage but runs away from the orphanage. Later on, he joins NASA's space program. Placed on Space Station Eve, an alien entity known as the Master of the Sun visits the space station and offers the mantle of Star Lord, then an interplanetery policeman, to a worthy candidate. Peter volunteers himself, but is rejected for a colleague that he treated poorly at one time. Outraged, Quill takes matters in his own hands after NASA orders his return to Earth and plans to discharge him for his actions. He had other plans. Peter steals a scout ship and, upon returning to Space Station Eve, takes his colleague's place. He is then chosen to become Star Lord, while the Master of the Sun first creates an illusion in which Quill finds and kills the aliens responsible for the murder of his mother, in an effort to free him from the past. Peter is then granted a sentient vessel known only as "Ship". Quill would later find out that his father is Jason of Sparta, the second son of the galactic Emporer whom acted as Star Lord before him. Later, Peter encounters a former Herald of Galactus, otherwise known as the Fallen One and is nearly killed. He is then imprisoned in the intergalactic prison, the Kyln. Star Lord is eventually freed by Nova during the Annihilation and helps in the war against Annihilus. He also acts as a military advisor to the Kree General, Ronan the Accuser, against the Phalanx, whom were invading the Kree homeworld of Hala. When Hala is conquered by the Phalanx, Star Lord leads a band of rebels against them until the war comes to an end. Upon the defeat of Ultron and the Phalanx, Quill forms the new Guardians of the Galaxy, a team to defend the Galaxy when things got rough.
