Personally, I think Tebow sucks for a QB. He's woeful as a passer and he's not, as Strider would say, an "Afflete," that will blow past defenses in the run game. But the Jets probably fit for him, since they are primarily a running team with a good line, aside from some issues last year, and Mark Sanchez blows as well. Perhaps defenses will get confused by all the sucktitude on the field, similar to how Pittsburgh's "Number 1 ranked defense" got burned. And if the Jets get their defense going again, it won't take many points, similar to most Denvers wins.

The trade hit a snag over $5 million. Word is Jacksonville is making a late charge if the Juets and Bronco's fail to complete the deal. |

The Teams agree to split the $5m and Tebow is a Juet. This should be fun. :bc: |

If people thought that the Tebow talk got out of hand last year, wait until he has a good game in NY. It'll be interesting to see how it all plays out, not really sure if the Jets know what they're doing, I hope it's more than just a move for the sake of making headlines which they've had a tendency to do.

What a joke, my least favorite player in the world comes to the Jets. I've never been a Tebow believer, no matter how many wins him and the Broncos pulled out of their ass last year. And if we wanted to run the wild cat more, we should have just kept Brad Smith last year. Plus all the Tebow Maniacs will chant his name and want him in the game the first incomplete pass that Sanchez makes. I don't mind running more wildcat, especially with Sporano on board as the OC, but Tebow brings this crazy cult following with him that we don't need. Disgusted. |

If we had a QB worth a sh*t you wouldn't have to worry about it. Blame Sanchez. |

Jets are blowing all these years of good defense and a solid run game with sh*t QB play. Sanchez really blows. Tebow might give them a false sense of comfort. Watch them pass on the next Brady in the draft because of this. I was joking about this, but I wouldn't be shocked if Drew Stanton, the odd man out, would be the most successful behind center for the Jets. Edited by Ed O'Ross, Mar 30 2012, 02:06 PM.

Well, I have a hard time believing Stanton could be worse than the two guys in front of him. Trading up to draft Sanchez was beyond fecking stupid, but typical of this franchise, it's why they've sucked for years and will continue to suck. |

f*ck, they should have signed Matt Flynn and gave him a chance. He got paid very little guaranteed money to go to Seattle. He'd have likely loved the chance to go the Jets. But I guess, the Jets are obligated to use Sanchez again. At least, with the acquisition of Tebow, it's no guarantee that Sanchez loses his job. I agree with my boy, Yankfan03. Sanchez is crap and the Jets owe him nothing. He's been paid handsomely to have to be carried by the team's defense, hand the ball off, and throw interceptions.
