Probably all talk and with him saying bringing back Giradi is priority 1 you have to question it but at the very least seems like he's not going to stand pat this offseason.

As far as I'm concerned if Cliff Lee is a not Yankee this asshole should be joining Eiland in looking for a job elsewhere. Frankly, getting rid of Eiland solves no problems and Cashman is as much to blame as anybody for the putrid end to this gutless 2010 season. Him failing miserably to improve the starting rotation hurt, him failing to get a decent bat to help the lineup really hurt. And Retardi's idiotic decisions killed this team but yet Cashman wants to bring him back. The two of them are largely responsible for how 2010 but the solution the organization decides is to fire Dave Eiland. Give me a f*cking break. The only encouraging article involving the Yankees' GM would be an article discussing a new one to replace this dipshit who thought bringing back Javier Vazquez and Nick Johnson was a great idea.

Word is when the Lee trade fell thru, the M's were willing to take a "player to be named later" (i.e. we figure it out later) or Nunez or Nova as replacement for Adams... If we get Lee, we'd be in the series now, "No Dought"! I firmly believe that. Cashman fecked it all over a player to be named later, probably a B prospect who would amount to nuthin ! :wall:

They swear Nunez will be Jeters replacement one day. We shall see. It cost us a WS appearance this year.

He had better be a fecking superstar but given the track record of the farm system under Cashman they'll be lucky if that happens.

Nunez has done nothing to suggest he'll ever be more than an ok starting short stop on a bad team.
