Tough to criticize 7 innings of 2-run ball.

But what the hell, I'll do it anyway. A game like this, against a guy like Lee, you have to allow your team bat at least a few times in a tie game. Instead, Pettitte put us in the hole immediately. I don't care what anybody thinks, as far as I'm concerned Pettitte f*cked this team tonight and may have lost the series with that one stupid pitch. If it happens in the fourth, I'd be a lot less aggrivated because hey, at least there was a chance, but no, this asshole couldn't even do that. The team probably wouldn't have done sh*t against Lee but it would've been nice to at least feel like we were in this game.

The team needed a shutdown start today and did not get it, end of story. This team does not have a shutdown pitcher, that is why Lee is a MUST this offseason.

Could happen, but I still say sign him. If he comes here and sucks ass it'll just be par for the f*cking course.

Ha ha yeah, I can see that sh*t happening. We have that type of luck when signing starting pitchers. They come here and turn to crap.

It really is sickening the return on investment this team gets from these assholes. I don't think Lee would turn to total sh*t but at best, he may only pitch like that overrated asshole Andy Pettitte and for the money he'd be getting, that's just not f*cking acceptable. Regardless, they still have to sign him and just hope that for once somebody comes here and actually lives up to the contract and expectations.

I don't blame a true Vet pitcher like Andy, who performed well today. It's these over paid hitters that swing like under water or in case of Swisher lunges at every pitch for homers. Andy did better than "our" Ace CC and that Hughes. I'll say again look what Andy did today and all past post season play. Look at these loser bull pen for only one inning. ENUFF SAID.....

Put the team in a hole against Cliff Lee before they even got to bat. He's tough enough in a tie game to be behind before you even take hacks at him makes it even tougher, Pettitte's performance was unacceptable, period.
