Good...
Robinson Cano: Damn near won an MVP (I think it will go to Hamilton, but I think it should go to Cabrera). 200 hits, 41 Doubles, 29 HR, 109 RBI, his Slugging went up despite league wide offensive regression, and his OBP went way up. He should win a gold glove and silver slugger. He should obviously bat 3rd next year, but we'll see if that happens.

CC Sabathia: I actually think he'll get the Cy Young even though others are probably a bit more deserving. 21 wins, 3.19 era (even lower than last year), 230 inning work horse, stopper... Sick year.

Nick Swisher: I was always a big fan, but if you told me before the season started that he'd hit .290/.360/.510 this year I would have been like "yeeeah, probably not". OBP was down a bit, but 33 Doubles and 29 Homeruns from your 2 or 6 hitter is big. He offensively outplayed A-Rod and Teixeira IMO

Marcus Thames: Just a role player, but you really can't ask for more than what he did in limited time. .288/.350/.490 with 12 HR in only 237 PAs (thats like 35 over a full season). He mashed lefties and got big hits. I want him back regardless of weather Montero is on the team. "We shall see"

Brett Gardner: He lead a team in OBP (.383) and some of his teammates include Derek Jeter, Alex Rodriguez, Mark Teixiera, Robinson Cano, Nick Swisher, and Jorge Posada. He was top 10 in the league in Outfield Assists as a LF(2nd with 9),Fielding % (2nd), Steals (3rd with 47, should have been more), Tripples (5th with 7), OBP (8th), Runs scored (9th with 97 (and he hit 9th and infront of Jeter most of the year)), and Walks (10th with 79). Huge breakout year, was really one of the best players in the AL this year. Should be leading off and playing CF to start 2011. "We shall see)

Kerry Wood: near perfect since being aquired. 0.69 era and 31Ks in 26 innings. Walks are a little scary.

Farm system: A lot of people had HUGE years, which should bode well for trades and getting the staff younger.

Decent...
Hughes: Could probably go in the "good group", but he should have pitched better. Lost his Curveball early in the year which led to predictability, which lead to a really high HR rate, which was really his only problem all year. Walks (3.0/9innings) were really only a problem towards the end of the year. He was in the 2.6 range most of the year which is very good. If he gets his curve back he could be one of the better pitchers in the American League.

Pettitte: Pitched great when healthy, missed more time than a Younger guy with a groin pull may have.

Mo: Great year other than a few bad outings that were bunched together. Status quo really

Eh...
Alex Rodriguez: Had a good year, but not a good A-Rod year. Production down across the board, spent some time on the DL.

Mark Teixeira: got his numbers up to "respectable" with a hot second half, but he's the number 3 hitter in a very good lineup and is making a LOT of money. .256/.365/.481 is meh.

Curtis Granderson: Got hot late so salvage an otherwise terrible year. Managed to hit 24 HR and 7 triples despite missing time on the DL (31 Homers over a full season). Defense was actually better than I thought it would be, but I feel like I'd still prefer him in LF. I actually think he'll be next years' Swisher and improve a lot, but he was kind of annoying this year as a player.

Jorge Posada: Gotta take 23 doubles and 18 homeruns in 120 games from a 38 year old catcher, but between his contract, his defense, and some of his annoying little flaws, he is just an annoying player to be a fan of sometimes. His career numbers are starting to get pretty impressive, but I can't imagine he'll have too much left next year. He better be a good mentor next year and not a bitter has-been.

Joba/Robertson/Logan: Logan started off really good, but I don't trust him. Joba had really good stats, but too many hits fell and somebody with his stuff shouldn't have an ERA over 4. So much for him being a sure thing as a reliever. Robertson had an ok year, but he walks WAY too many hitters.

Bad
Javy: Went from the 3rd best starter in the NL to an 88MPH throwing BP machine this year. Melky pretty much sucked, and Logan was ok, but Vizcaino had a really good year. Good trade at the time that could end up a disaster.

Burnett: Easily his worst year. Lets hope he's back to normal, which is usually decent if not underwhelming, next year, because he is completely untradeable.

Derek Jeter: easily the worst year of his career, plain and simple.

Francisco Cervelli's defense: Despite being worthless most of the year his offensive numbers ended up ok (.271/.351), but his glove was terrible after looking like a defensive Wiz last year. He made 13 errors and didn't throw anyone out.

Johnson and Winn: zero contribution
