First inning, Bases Loaded, no one out. Homie's boy Nova sucks! :smirk:

Gertner bailed him out with a nice catch & throw. 2 outs, first and second.

Quite. Good second for him though, and now I've just seen the top of the third, I'm going to bed. Ho hum.

Why is Retardi taking him out after 73 pitches??!!?!!? He just retired 9 in a row and gave up an infield single and Retardi bolts out of the dugout to take him out!!

If it wasn't for the blown call by the ump, he would have only given up 1 run. After the first inning, Nova has been great and has been getting better as the game goes on. He got 9 outs in a row and then gave up a 1,000 hopper infield single to Wells and he's taken out of the game?! What sense does that make?

Didn't catch the start, but was checking the game day. Hit 96 and 97 a bunch of times. A bit higher than usual, which makes me think he was a little hyper. 93-95 with movement is his MO. How was the movement?
