Tex is red hot so what does he do? Skips a whole series against one of our toughest opponents to be with his whining pregnant wife. Who knows??? That baby could come a month from now ! :wtf: Now we're stuck with that fat Jackoff Berkman at first........... :annoyed: Mark Teixeira to miss Rangers-Yankees series FOXSportsSouthwest.com Yankees manager Joe Girardi has confirmed that first baseman Mark Teixeira will not be in Arlington this weekend for a two-game series again A.L. West division leader Texas Rangers, according to The Associated Press. Teixeira will be back in New York with his pregnant wife, awaiting the birth of their third child. Teixeira is expected to rejoin the in Kansas City on Thursday. New Yankee Lance Berkman, who was acquired last week in a trade with the Houston Astros, will fill the void left by Teixeira at first base |

The baby was born today. WTF are you talking about a month from now?! Why would he leave the team to be with a wife who's expecting to give birth a month from now? |

Noone knows when a baby will be born. It could come up to a month early or a month late. Unless they are having a sesarian section where they cut the mother open, the baby could come anytime. My son was born two weeks early. I had no idea the baby was born today and apparently neither did Fox until a few minutes ago (8:08pm) when they posted the update about the birth. Glad Berkman is here to strike out with 2nd and 3rd and 1 out. All he needed was a fecking grounder....did they even scout this guy? He is so terrible!!!!!!!!!!! |

They just remember his name from the 2004 All-Star team. They probably saw what some of us did. A guy who's fallen off but could be had for cheap and you hope there's a small resurgence with the change of scenery, being in a better lineup and getting different coaching. And, if he stays as was and nothing more, at least that .370 OBP brings to the table some of what Nick Johnson's bitch ass was supposed to. Nobody expected Clay Bellinger. |
