He is a shadow of his former self. They had that runner dead to rights at home, and Jeter's bobble and double clutch and HORRIBLE throw cost the Yankees a run.

And as I type this the next batter hits a 2-run HR. Derek Jeter just cost this team 3 runs. And don't forget the fact that he hasn't gotten an RBI since May 10th.

That throw was funny. I hope that gets clowned like Melky's.

Since it's Jeter, it won't even be mentioned. They actually cut it out of the post game highlights on YES. They showed the hit, the relay throw from Kearns, and then cut to the HR.

It's gotten to the point that this scumbag can't even get a sac fly anymore, not even an RBI groundout.

When was the last time Derek Jeter pulled a pitch? Seriously? When was the last time he drove a ball to the outfield? He looks just as bad as Lance Berkman out there. He looks washed up.

Well, we all know never in a million years would that even be considered by the Yankees, though it should be. They should give him a take it or leave 4-year, $60 mil deal, no way he'd sign that but that should be as high as they go, if he wants anymore, cut ties.

If Derek Jeter was offered 8 mil a year cashman would be dead before he left the building and the crime wouldn't even be investigated. Every Yankee fan in the world would call Jeter a saint for not raping Cashman's mother right in front of him.

Sad but true, Derek Jeter can do know wrong in the eyes of Yankee fans and lets not kid ourselves, the Yankees love the stupid amount of money they get from the 14-year-old girls who buy all that Jeter merchandise.

With Jeter pushing 40 (and losing some hair), shouldn't the teenage girls be finding someone new to swoon over? Am I wrong? Hughes should have more teen appeal than Jeter at this point.

Yeah, I'd toss that salad with raspberry syrup... No homo.

All the good looking young men coming into the league and teenagers are fawning over a guy who's 36. Doesn't make sense to me. These little broads cycle through celebs every week. Justin Timberlake then Zac Efron then the dude from that dancing sh*t with the girl, Shia Lebouf (f*ck the spelling), then a series of guys I've never heard of because I don't watch shitty movies and MTV shows, then Team Jacob and Team Edward, and whoever they're into now. But a guy who started playing before a lot of them were born, he's still poppin'? sh*t, I'm 24 and I think Jeter is old.

I'm with Strider -- are teenagers still obsessed with Derek Jeter? I don't think it's nearly the same as when he was in his twenties.
