Jake Westbrook...

I guess if they get him, he becomes our #5 until Pettite returns, then becomes the 8th inning bridge to Mo until later in the year when he switches back to the rotation and Hughes goes to the pen (because of innings limits)...

He's not great but I'd be OK with him or a guy like Ted Lilly as long as we don't overpay. There's not much good starting pitching left after losing out on Lee, Haren and Oswalt. And at this time, quality relievers are in high demand and asking prices sky high.

I don't see him as an 8th inning type guy at all.

If this happens it means the Yankees are pessimistic about Aceves.

I'd be shocked to see Aceves on the mound again this year.

Stop it with Nova. The Yanks are pitching Mitre and Moseley ahead of him for crying out loud.

Doesn't mean they should be. You think Westbrook makes more sense in the Pen? Because thats where either player is ultimately going to be.

and you have a reputation of throwing your converse over telephone wires and not looking both ways when you cross the street. Doesn't mean you do.

Niggas do look both ways. They just walk right into the road and not give a f*ck. Then when you slam your brake, they look at you like you did something wrong. And continue to walk across slowly. You can't drive through a ghetto without encountering that a few times. My first driving lesson, I almost ran over a black woman. I had the green light and she walked right out. Instructor slammed the brake (those student driver cars with an extra brake on the passenger side) and she starts staring at us. He tells me to honk the horn at her. This only made her stare a few seconds longer. That's since happened to me twice... And I've never thrown my sneakers over a telephone wire. I've got a bunch of old pairs in my closet so I might do it one day for the hell of it, though.
