I'd rather stick with Gardner. Jeter swings away too much on the first pitch and either grounds to short or a weak fly ball. The Yankees seem never to jump start the first inning. While I'm at it. Swisher does swat the ball on occassion, but he runs the bases with lead shoes. |

Have to agree with Dave. Make Gertner the leadoff and Jeta batting second. |

Gardner pressed a lot when he was moved up in the lineup when Johnson first got hurt and went through his only prolonged slump. I'd rather leave him at the bottom of the lineup for now where he seems to be a lot more comfortable. I have to think Jeter will come around. |

 Then we'll watch Gardner get a bunch of leadoff singles while Jeter grounds in to double play after double play, and you'll get pissed off at him batting 2nd as well. And he can bat 3rd or 4th. Cant bat 5th or 6th also. I'd say bat him 7th or 8th in the lineup. Thats perfect for him. |

What did I tell you about Jeter....He was horrible in todays win. Very unclutch. Don't get me wrong, Jeter hassssss been the man, but he's killin many Yankee rallies. And look and that lead foot Swisher getting thrown out stealing, killing a Willis implosion.... |
