Was hitting 308 with three homers, 18 RBI and 23 stolen bases in the minors. Interested to see what we gave up for Marte and Nady.

He's their answer to the Strasburg hype.

We got a World Series and Marte was a big part of it. The trade was successful as far as I am concerned. I don't care what Tabata does.

Remember when ya'll were dickriding him in '06 or '07 and I said he'd wind up being a career .237 hitter for the Pirates? I'm halfway there, niggas.

The funny thing is after all this time he's still 22. I was a big fan, but I don't know what to think of him anymore. Doesn't have the range for CF, but is stealing a bunch of bases now? He doesn't strike out like Austin Jackson, but walks as much if not more. It was always thought he'd hit for average. Poor man's Alex Rios (without the pop)? Its hard to hate on the trade especially since he was acting up and not hitting when it went down, but I don't see him hitting .225.
