That was a great one. I really liked Game 4 in Philly. Nerve racking at the time, but I loved how this team answered back after the Phillies punched us in the mouth when we were one out away from getting to Mo.

Great thread topic. Game 4 WS was a great one but for me it was the clincher at home against the Angels. Finally beating that team in a big spot was the greatest. Girardi in one year did what Torre couldn't in 12 years. |

I can't decide between Game 2 against the Twins or Game 4 in Philly. I mean, down 2 runs in the 9th against QUIETLY TEH BESTERZ CLOSER IN THE AL!!1!11!! and having Al send one into the night to tie it? I was going nuts! Then bases loaded, 0 outs, and David Robinson gets out of it!! 4 minutes later I'm jumping around my room on a Tex walkoff. That was a great game. Game 4 in Philly was also great because of the way the team bounced back after the Phillies tied it. If we don't score in that inning, Philly wins the game off Coke or Hooze and tie the series 2-2 with Cliff Lee going the next night! we were looking at going from 2-1 up and in control of the series to down 3-2 in the blink of an eye. That's what happened to us in 2003 and I was so scared it was gonna happen again. But then Damon had that AB, and thank GOODNESS Tex was hit by the pitch to bring Al up to bat. And with that double, he put us back in control of the World Series. |

Well said. I'm a little biased toward Game 2 of the ALDS because I was there, but the circumstances of Game 4 were much more meaningful. We don't win that series if not for Damon's at-bat. |

I'm with Rob, it's either Game 2 against the Twins or Game 4 in Philly, I'm going Game 4 in against Philly, if we lose that game I really think we end up losing the series. That was the biggest and most dramatic due to what was on the line. |
