To make a long story short, there was Boston Sucks chants, Rollins Swallows chants, Angels sucks chants because some stupid bitch was near a office window wearing a angels sweater!!! They also called her a slut! There was also paper toilet fights, a small football being thrown around and just bedlam all over place! But on a side note, a couple of things did bug me at the parade. I know it was different on tv for some of you guys but in person, from what I saw, I’ll say this: 1) A-rod did not enjoy himself for the most part. He was dressed like a 45 year cab driver, and he was only talking with jay-z instead of interacting with the fans. It’s almost like he wanted to go unseen the way he was dress. Almost everyone didn’t recognize him. Like I said, this is what I saw in person. You would think he would have enjoyed it more seeing what he went thru this season but whatever I guess. Very disappointing. Maybe he was having a bad day, maybe he had a fight with kate, who knows. Just very disappointing reactions out of him, because all the other players were going nuts!!!!!! 2) Most of the fans there are fcking stupid. All they knew was Jeter and Rivera. Every other float that came by, they would be like “ who’s that?” “Is he a position player?” WHAT!!!!!!!!??????????? HOW ARE THESE PEOPLE FANS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????????? IT’S sht LIKE THIS THAT MAKES YANKEE FANS LOOK BAD AMONG OTHER BASEBALL FANS!!!!!!!!!! STOP IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :furious: :furious: 3) The floats were going 50mph!!!!!!!!!!!! It made it very difficult to take pics and it almost seem like they were rushing them to city hall to be with the politicians!!!!!! fck THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The fans should come first!!!!! Not those OLD RICH BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: :furious: It really is disappointing how the city treats the fans like sht, but other than those hiccups, I had a blast!!! I wish you guys could have been there. Maybe for number 28 huh!!!???!!!! By the way, I’ll try to put some pics I took later on! :thumbup:

From what I saw on tv it looked he was enjoying himself, but having been to the last two parades, the perspective is a lot different. I wish I could've been there, hopefully whenever #28 happens I'll be able to get to it. Also, to be fair, A-Rod has never been treated fairly by the fans here. Perfect example, Tex was putrid this postseason but the fans still ride that dick, A-Rod had three bad games in the 2004 ALCS, he didn't fck up games 4-7 with idiotic decision or terrible pitching but it was ALL his fault. 2005-2008 "It's because of A-Rod, he sucks!" The question, even going into this postseason that has always been asked is 'who would you rather have him or Jeter?' A question so stupid because we're fortunate enough to have both. He may still harbor some bad feelings about that. Not saying that's the reason for him maybe not enjoying himself, but it is a possibility. It was too crowded and tough to see some of the floats. It looks like you had a great spot though. Al seemed to be having fun on TV. Maybe you just caught him during a more subdued moment.
