All time leader in post-season wins, won the clincher in all three series, great 2nd half and got through it healthy. I think he should go out on top and will decide in the next month or so he's done. Which will in turn leave a huge hole in the middle of the rotation.

Wouldn't doubt it, either way the one team this move has to make especially with the rumours of Philly and Boston going hard at Halladay, we need Lackey! GET HIM!!!

If he did he leaves as Mr. Money - Mr. Winner - Mr. Heart on the Sleeve - so you can't find a better time ....

BUT if he goes and Hideki goes and Molina and maybe even JDamon well then , we have massive holes.... massive....and then it's time to wheel and deal and sign guys .....

We control Matsui and Damon, their first choice will be to stay Jankees, no question about it. We should keep one, I'm leaning towards Damon because he can play the OF some and then we should DH him a lot more since it will be open.

Then go get me Lackey. I think we should bring Molina back for another year as well.

No way this team brings Molina back. They would be morons too. Cervelli needs to back up next year.

I'm also getting a feeling Pettitte will retire and I wouldn't blame him one bit, no better time for him to walk away. Hopefully this team makes a big push for Lackey. To be honest though, even if Pettitte does come back (which I would love and I hope he does), I'd still want to go after Lackey, no reason not to.
