First I don't make a huge deal about this stuff, but it's being talked about.

Some say '00 is not part of the 00's decade. How would that be the case? A decade is 10 years, 10 years would be 00-09. In the 90's it would be 90-99.......90 wasn't part of the 80's, so how can some dispute '00 being part of the 00's.... 00-09 10-19 20-29 30-39 and so on......

Stop with the madness.

We were the team of the 90's and team of the 00's!!!

I guess you're listening to Francessa. The only reason I would care is because I don't want the Red Sox to get any satisfaction of being called the team of the decade. The decade is 2000-2009. The Yankees have 2 WS Championships, 4 pennants, and 7 division titles. That's the team of the decade.

Red Sox fans are the only ones who don't count 2000 as being part of the decade. I never understood it. All those stupid "Got rings this decade?" and "Got rings this millennium?" T-Shirts never made any sense to me.

YEah seriously, I mean if 2000 isn't part of the decade, what the f*ck is it part of? Plus a decade is 10 years, not nine. f*cking idiots.

Technically because there was no year 0, the decades are 2001-2010, for example. But no one in their right mind counts 2000 as being in the '90s, so it's all silliness.

Silliness. So, according to your cooky "technical" foolishness, the 90's started in 1991? And 1990 was part of the 80s? And when everybody celebrated the millenium in 2000, they were a year early and the "new millenium" actually started 2001?

Stop it. It's stupid and corny and doesn't make sense. I don't care when the hell they started counting years. The decades start when they start. Take the technical stuff and shove it up your ass.

It's Seinfeld nonsense.....the Kramennium
JERRY: Hello, Newman!

NEWMAN: Hello Jerry. (to Kramer) What did you say to Elaine? I just got her
cancellation in the mail.

KRAMER: Oh, well I guess she found some place better to go.

NEWMAN: Well, it's her mistake. Because she is going to miss the party of a
lifetime.

KRAMER: Well, maybe so, but come midnight, when she's looking for someone warm
and cuddly to kiss, I guess you'll be caught between the moon and New York City.

NEWMAN: Alright. Come back to my party, please.

KRAMER: Jerry too, of course.

NEWMAN: (reluctant) You don't wanna do your... act, or anything, do you?

JERRY: No.

NEWMAN: Alright then, I guess I can accept a little Jerry, if it gets me a
(suggestive) lot of Elaine.

Jerry pulls a disgusted face.

KRAMER: Deal?

NEWMAN: To the Newmanniun! (holds out his hand)

KRAMER: (grasps Newman's hand) To the Kramennium.

Kramer and Newman move to the door to leave. Newman stops as Jerry speaks to
him, and Kramer exits to his apartment.

JERRY: By the way Newman, I'm just curious. When you booked the hotel, did you
book it for the millennium New Year?

NEWMAN: (smug) As a matter of fact, I did.

JERRY: Oh, that's interesting, because as everyone knows, since there was no
year zero, the millennium doesn't begin until the year two-thousand and one.
Which would make your party, one year late, and thus, quite lame.

We both have two titles, we made 4 WS and won 8 division titles. Do the math.....

Technically, yes, but it's stupid and makes no sense, so no one goes by that logic.

Exactly!!

And none of this would of happened if Drew didn't come in here with his silly-year-Jewish-witchcraft-calendar talk.
