For Jason Trusnik, Chansi Stuckey, a 3rd and a 5th. Not many 26 year old 6'3 Pro Bowlers become available for a couple role players and 2nd day draft choices. It's certainly a gamble but for that price, I think a worthwhile one.

Another positive is that he's only signed for this year ($4.5M) and he'll have to straigten up and stop dropping passes if he hopes to get a big contract anywhere. At the very least, he can get down field and raise the coverage. I need that sh*t because Thomas Jones has been killing me in fantasy league.

I think it was Kiwanuka and a 1st. Then Steve Smith and a 2nd.

They took this package now because it's obvious they weren't going to get much out of him this season, the team isn't going anywhere and he was gonna leave as a free agent. Plus I could see him being a real thorn in Mangini's ass, undermining him and probably mocking him. And since Mangini has little support on that team, he has to weed out the guys who won't buy in. There's also the investigation. If the police turn up anything and lil' fella presses charges and the NFL sticks its nose in (he's been in trouble before for speeding, so this would be a second, more serious offense and he's considered an asshole so Goodell would have little sympathy), it could be a 4-game suspension. So the Jets would have him for 8 games in which he's adjusting to their offense and not able to make a huge impact. Then the trade would look good for Cleveland. If the worst-case plays out, the Browns will have gotten a 3rd & 5th, a decent #4 receiver and kick returner and a good special teamer for someone who didn't matter to them this year and wasn't part of their future plans and who didn't contribute much to the Jets.

I'd be surprised if it was a 4 game suspension. With him out of Cleveland it wouldn't surprise me if Lebron's boy decided to drop charges as is. I think it'd be a maximum of 2 games and if you look at the schedule if it happens in the next 5 weeks it would be OK.

I was so f*cking happy when Matty sent me a message about this, I got it while in a meeting and did a fist pump, I think a few of my co-workers think I'm nuts....but that's okay. They are still getting to know me.

I actually didn't hate Chansi Stuckey but a good move, nothing to lose for the Jets and it gives the kid another option to throw to. And if Edwards plays well it may finally open up the running game.

I would much rather have given up Clowney as opposed to Stuckey, but obviously the Browns and Mangina like Stuckey better and I don't blame them. This was a great move, this team lacked a true big play maker at WR. I love Jericho, but he's a very good #2, not a #1 game breaker like Braylon can be.

I liked Stuckey too and would've loved to keep him to play the slot but the alternative was probably Brad Smith and you can't trade you're two best special teamers in one move. High upside and worst case scenario is he's an extensive one year rental. Gotta hand it to Mike T. again, dude's got balls.

I was working an event during Game 1. I tried to listen when I had breaks, but was speaking with some parents and students when Matsui was up. Someone next to me yelled out to me when he hit his homer. I did a fist pump as I kept talking to the parents and students. People around me were laughing, although the parents and students didn't seem to notice.
