Huh? I never said anything about the Jets season being over. I meant the NFL Season in general is halfway over. Only 7 weeks left. |

Well it is now!!! By the way, I've tried to give Sanchez the benefit of the doubt as much as possible, but today was a game in that Buffalo class again, down right awful. How one QB can throw the ball away and fumble it around like he does, it's insane. If we had a QB who can protect the ball and manage the game we'd have 7 wins, no doubt in my mind. |

Sanchez gets worse as the weeks go by that performance against New England was absolutely putrid. I hate this guy. |

This football season has been even worse than last year. I couldn't stand him, especially down the stretch, but at least Favre added some excitement, this team just flat-out sucks and is boring to watch.

So we now control our own destiny, everything broke our way today. So now they get to break my heart yet again and blow it against Cincy next week. |

On the other hand, what if Caldwell plays Manning and he gets injured in the 4th quarter and is out the rest of the year?

 And sadly I'm going to be pumped up for the game too eventhough I've seen this sh*t movie before and know how it ends. Even if a miracle happens and we do get into the playoffs we know it's one and done but at this point we have sh*t draft position anyway so I'd rather get one playoff game than none. When has Manning ever missed the rest of the season? He never gets hurt. f*ck the Colts :fyou: I wish we couldve played them this week. I'd like a free win like that. But for now.. Go Bengals. |

Manning has hardly missed a play, let alone a game in his career. He never gets hurt. It could happen, but for a chance at perfection, he shouldn't have thrown the towel in Week 16. |

Making the playoffs with a rookie head coach, rookie quarterback and injuries to Leon and Jenkins early would be a real accomplishment. |

If we get in to the playoffs we will get Cincy again, we can play with them. This weekend they aren't going to play, but in two weeks I think we can play with them head to head. |

I actually agree with you guys, I was just throwing it out there because to me Caldwell was kind of in a no-win situation. He takes Manning out to make sure he doesn't get hurt and the Colts lose, people get pissed. They leave him in and IF something happens that prevents him from playing the rest of the year, his team is really f*cked. I can see both sides. It would've been nice to give Manning a chance at perfection, but I'm glad they gave the Jets a gift win. Edited by Yanksfan03, Dec 29 2009, 03:24 AM.

I hope Peyton berated him in the locker room and made him feel like sh*t in front of everybody. How dare he? Peyton overruled Dungy several times, and that was a veteran coach with possible Hall of Fame credentials. Who the f*ck is Jim Caldwell? What has to hurt is how the Colts got to 14-0. They weren't coasting through the season. Plenty of times they had to come back and Peyton carried a crew that was banged up, missing starters, no running game and had a couple guys at receiver you hadn't heard of before October. They clawed their way to a chance at perfection. And the coach throws that away like, "Easy come, easy go." And if he was trying protect Manning, then why not do what the Colts used to do in the last games of seasons: play him one series to keep the streak alive, have him throw a bunch of screens and slants to Wayne and then pull him. Caldwell let him start the third quarter and then benched him. Against one of the worst pass-rushing teams in the league. Looks like we've got another black coach I don't like. |

Or if you're going to play him a half, why not play him the 2nd half? Maybe the Jets build up a lead but you have a better chance of Manning and the starters coming in and leading a comeback then protecting 5 points with Curtis Painter out there. |

Yeah, I read a lot of different things, a lot of people gave up. Hell, I thought that Falcons game was going to do us in, thankfully things broke our way. We have nothing to apologize about, we deserve to be in the playoffs. I don't care what anybody says. Other teams had their chances, the Dolphins closed out their season losing three straight. The Steelers lost games to the Browns and the Raiders biting them in the ass. The Texans lost to us in Week 1 which hurt them. Bottom line is we are there and we deserve it. If we can get a win in Cincy, how great would that be? Let's do it! |

Congrats on making the playoffs guys. Still cant believe Indy decided to rest its starters randomly against your guys. But I kinda think it'd be funny if you beat the Bengals and then Beat the Colts in the playoffs. Prove to them that you'll beat them with thier starters as well. Then in the AFC Championship game, you guys beat the Pats. Then you can go and Beat Brett Favre in the Superbowl. How does that sound?  But good luck in the playoffs and if you happen to play San Diego, be sure to beat them. |

I don't even remember half the sh*t I say about the Juets. I say a lot of things but I always watch the games and root for the team even though lots of sh*t they do pisses me the hell off. I don't think I said I'd turn my back on the team, I have said they'd make things a lot on easier on me every winter if they would move to LA or something. And I was not pleased with the drafting of Sanchez. Edited by Yanksfan03, Jan 5 2010, 03:46 PM.
