What a throw and catch by Sanchez and Cotchery, a PERFECT bomb down the sideline and what a job by Jericho keeping his feet in and securing the ball!

Pressure on Collins and Harris gets the pick, offsets the mistake by Sanchez for the time being.

HUGE holding penalty, Jones broke one for I don't know, maybe 30-35 yards and it's neagted by a holding penalty! :furious:

I think we missed Lito today, but the defense still stepped up in the spots they had to and got to the QB and made plays, gotta love it. Sanchez made a few blunders, but luckily the Titans kick returner made some bigger ones. 3-0 baby!!!! Gotta f*cking love it!

It's scary how good this defense has been early on, plus we haven't even added Pace into the mix yet! :jerk:

Mouton gets a big assist in this win but I have to give the Jets credit because last year, especially down the stretch, we wouldn't have taken advantage of those opportunities. So far this team has been pretty good at capitalizing on the opponent's mistakes. Again, I gotta say special teams were great, they don't get a ton of credit but they helped big time in making two of those touchdowns happen today.

The Saints are up next now, that'll be another good test for this team.

The odds of Drew Brees having back to back mediocre games is unlikely but last week showed that he his human. The key is going to be to run the ball and keep the Saints offense off the field. If you can keep the score close early you have shot but no one is going to be able to play catch up against New Orleans this year. Should be a fun game.

You hit the nail on the head, Jones needs a big game and make sure Washington gets his 12-15 touches as well. Control the ball and the clock and hopefully the defense can get to Brees and force him into a couple of mistakes.

In this league anyone can be anyone on any given Sunday unless you are the Cleveland Browns, they ain't beating anyone this year. :bc:

On the real, I've looked at that bro, the schedule lightens up the next 6 weeks after this. Knowing the old Jets they will blow a couple of cupcake games, but it is crazy how nice the schedule broke for them over this coming stretch.

The Jets aren't going to go undefeated. I expect to lose to the Saints and I'm sure we'll lose at least two of the next five games after that. If we could be 6-3 I'd take that, then it'd just be a matter of not completely shitting the bed down the stretch like last season. With the Jets the bottom usually falls out at some point though.

With the way the schedule breaks I would be disappointed with 6-3. I don't expect to beat the Saints but after that we have.....

@ Miami
Buffalo
@ Oakland
Miami
Jacksonville

That's a huge soft spot in the schedule. Miami is 0-3 and just lost their QB. Oakland is a joke. Jacksonville should be a win and Buffalo at home.

This team better win 4 of those 5, and I want nothing worse then 7-2 after 9 games. Now I wouldn't be overly disappointed with 6-3 but after the 3-0 start I have to rise my expectations.

 The Browns are a joke. But yea, thats true. Anyone can beat anyone but your schedule does lighten up. I think you'll probably be 7-2 though by the next time you play the Pats.

Your next 5 games is easier then ours.

We have to play Dallas, New England, @ San Diego, @ Baltimore, Pittsburgh

I'm ready for our brutal stretch of games. :bag:

f*ck you very much Mark Sanchez. A pick that goes for a td when we were at the goalline and then a fumble in our own endzone. f*ckING IDIOT!!!!! Rookie mistakes will happen but this is just pure stupidity. 14 points for the Saints defense, Sanchez has singlehandedly lost this game. f*cking useless scumbag. Shove him up your asses. :fyou:

What's sad is the Jets defense has only allowed 3 points against this offense and Sanchez hands them 14 points just like that. I didn't think we'd win this game, but the kid can't be making mistakes to this degree.

Inexcusable, period. But he'll get a pass because he's a rookie. Stupid. Somebody on this coaching staff better be screaming at him after this game.

Touchdown Jets, finally. 17-10, we've got a ball game now. Hopefully the defense doesn't decide to start shitting the bed.

DAMN!!! The defense f*cking stepped up there, that was big. Now Sanchez and the offense better not f*ck up. The line needs to f*cking run block and protect his ass, let's go!!!! TD!!!! NOTHING LESS!

Game. Set. Match. I officially hate this team, just the offense. The defense played their ass off for much of the game.

Once the Saints scored their 2nd TD on defense you knew this game was hopeless. I can only think of what could have been. What could have been if we had a QB who could take care of the football.........terrible game by Sanchez.

The quarterback cost us this game, period. You can't say anything else. He turned the ball over 4 times, you just can't do that. Very disappointing but at the same time I didn't expect to beat the Saints.
