That's how I feel with the Jets, didn't care a bit about the game. Was thinking about the World Series and Game 4 and also ended up watching Magic/Raptors instead of Jets/Dolphins. f*ck football, I enjoy baseball and basketball much more anyway. Football has always fell far behind baseball and basketball for me. |

Yeah, the Giants have lost three in a row and I don't even really care. I'm more focused on the Yanks. |

No doubt, that's the most important thing going on right now. |

They f*cking suck. Good thing the Yankees won it all, or else I'd really be depressed. |

I was watching Game 2 against the Angels instead of the Giants game. |

On the Chargers last drive the middle of the Giants defense parted like the Red Sea. My highlight of the game was when Boley blitzed and Tuck dropped back into pass coverage to feebly attempt to cover Gates. BTW Feagles suddenly looks his age. Both KG and BS have to go. After Snee’s holding penalty they had to at least once try and get the ball into the end zone. Norv Turner actually outcoached TC. Today’s loss was just an illustration of a team playing poorly finding ways to lose. |

Feagles has shown a weak leg the last 2-3 years but they kept bringing him back because his inside-the-20 stats were good. Ignoring the fact that the offense seemingly always being beyond midfield is what allows him to average 40 yards on punts and still pin teams. I like Feagles, but he's been overrated here. Now I don't know if his leg has gotten weaker, but he's definitely shanked a few off the side of his foot. I figured out what I want for the Giants yesterday. I hope they lose all the remaining games. Playoffs or not, this team isn't winning a championship. Not with the crap in the secondary, the injuries and the questionable coaching. So maybe a 5-11 season would bring about changes, sober anyone in the front office who's still Super Bowl drunk and get them a much needed high first round pick. They've had good drafts the last few years, but I've always felt like they were a true playmaker away from taking the next step. A sideline-to-sideline linebacker (sh*t, I wanted Patrick Willis so bad a few years ago; and Aaron Curry this year) or a ballhawk in the secondary. Kenny Phillips might've been that but... I gave up any championship hopes after Phillips went down. And at 5-4, with the flaws exposed and them finding different ways to lose, just tank it. Now, I can't watch a game and root for them to f*ck up. Just not in me. If nothing else, I'm always rooting for guys to have good stats. But when I'm zoomed out and objective, it's best they just epic fail. |

Excellent article by By Mike Garafolo/The Star-Ledger: "DENVER -- The Giants are running the wrong plays on the ground. There, I said it. I’ve been hearing rumblings of that for a while now. All season, in fact. But I was reluctant to give them that out. It’s about blocking it up and running hard. That’s what gets you big yardage. But after watching this team Thursday night and looking over the game again Friday morning, I’m convinced a major problem is they’re trying to go too wide and not straight ahead. Running backs coach Jerald Ingram said a lot of issues for Brandon Jacobs early in the season were the play calls to the outside that had him stopping and starting. Well, they’re still making those calls and they don’t have Derrick Ward around to run them. Plus, this offensive line would like to start knocking people off the ball more often instead of these finesse runs. The worst one, to me, was after a 13-yard completion on their second offensive play of the second half. It was their longest play of the game at that point and it had come off an interception by Terrell Thomas that finally had them feeling good. So what did they do? They ran Jacobs wide on a stretch play with a lead blocker that went for a loss of 2 yards. Three plays later, Jacobs lost 3 yards on a run wide to the left side. Starting with their next game against the Cowboys, the Giants need to start being more physical and straight ahead in the running game. They need to get after their opposing fronts. Now. And start being more effective in the running game. Now. To set up their passing game. Now. And I’m not the only one who feels that way. Trust me." |

This has been the most frustrating Giants game this year. They fight all the way back and take a 31-30 lead, only to give it all up in 15 seconds. And why the HELL do they always run on 3rd and 5?! That sh*t is so annoying!! They hand the ball off to Bradshaw and he gains a yard. Stupid. And Brandon Jacobs is no better than Ron Dayne. He SUCKS!! |

Same record as the Jets and an easier schedule...this year has really been a collapse for a team that was supposed to contend for the Super Bowl. |

This is what happens when you f*ck up a Super Bowl season. They were the rightful champions last year. That was the team. And it slipped away. I gave up on them winning anything this year after Kenny Phillips went down. He might've been the player they could least afford to lose (people say Eli, but I don't think it'd be a huge dropoff to Carr). And since 5-4, I've been rooting for stats and losses. So, strange as it sounds, kinda happy about Sunday. Eli got a career-high in yards, threw three TDs, got his rating up to 93 and Steve Smith broke the single-season catch record (Giants' offenses have been so pathetic throughout their history; 82 was the f*cking record) and cracked 1,000 yards... and they got the loss. I know at 7-9 they'd probably wind up picking like 16th, but it's better than picking late and seeing three players you liked and thought were within range get snatched up several picks ahead. They need the help. This team can't win a championship, so making the playoffs would be pointless. Which is why they probably will. I'm expecting a Cowboys collapse and, thanks to tiebreakers, the Giants will sneak into the playoffs at 9-7 or 10-6 (depending on how badly Tavares Jackson rapes the secondary in the season finale vs. the Vikings). They'll lose in the first round. |

Glad its over with. Coughlin and his entire staff need to go. Too many times this team showed up gutless...and to finish the season like today tells me they need to go! |
