Don't know where this fits but... As voted by us. 1. Peyton Manning 2. Derek Jeter 3. Tom Brady 4. Kobe Bryant 5. LeBron James How on earth is Manning above Brady? I will never get this! Jeter isn't a leader anymore he is forever Captain GIPD |

SportsNation is one of the gayest shows ever, you are automatically a douche bag if you watch that or take those polls with any legitimacy |

I didn't even know it was a show. I just thought it was those polls on ESPN.com. This is like caring about the results of the Toyota Text Poll. |

It was just a poll but now it's a show as well hosted by Cowherd and Michelle Beadle. The only reason I know about it is because from time to time I do listen to The Herd and he had her on and they were talking about their "new show" they had premiering soon. Total garbage. |

f*ck you. I watch that sh*t every now and then. Michelle Beadle is charismatic. And that poll, naturally, is wrong. Fans don't know sh*t and people are stupid. |

Gary Sheffield said it best. "Derek is the captain, not the leader." You can debate it, but Peyton Manning might get the edge over Brady because of the responsibilities he has with the offense. They run a no-huddle and he's responsible for getting everybody lined up properly, switching the formations, calling audibles, making all the reads and changing blocking assignments. And he pretty much runs that team. Half the time he ignored Tom Moore's play calls and just winged it himself at the line of scrimmage. And more than once you've seen him wave off the special teams unit, tell Dungy to mind his business, and go for it on 4th down. And he's certainly a vocal leader who has everyone's respect. Brady does a good job of rallying the guys, getting them fired up and from he leads by example. They see his excellence and his credentials and have to respect him; they see his toughness (no QB says "f*ck a pass rush" like him) and have to admire him. You can go either way, but I'd say Peyton because he takes on more responsibility and no one football player controls where his team goes than him. Year to year, you never know what the defense is gonna be and running game hasn't been much since like 2005 - but every year the Colts are like 13-3 (11-5 last year?) and Manning is easily the biggest reason. |

I don't care for Brady, but the only other QB I've laid eyes on that I would rank ahead of Brady is Montana. |

you know what gets me mad..why do they make a big deal about people that used steroids and say they cant join the h.o.f. and single them out about supposedly cheating...but the patriots actually cheated and we want to say Tom Brady and Bill Belichick are the best coach and player to ever play the game why don't they get crucified they cheated and still people worship them like gods...what they did is much worst than steroids i think both of them are garbage the whole team sucks...i dont know if i hate them because of them being so close to boston but i hate the shet out of them...they cheated and still couldn't win the super bowl how good can that q.b. actually be |

I hate all Boston teams, including the Patriots. I hate them with a passion! With that being said, I have to give credit where it is due. Brady is one of the best. |

Yup. I hate the Patriots more than I do any of the Giants actual rivals. Just like I hate the Spurs more than... well, the Knicks don't count since you have to compete in order to have rivals. And even I give it to Brady. He might be my favorite player if he didn't play for the Patriots. His clutchness and intangibles were overrated while people overlooked/downplayed his talent and accomplishments, but I take nothing away from him. He's got a very good arm, he's extremely accurate and no QB shows as much guts in the pocket. I respect the hell outta him for that. Ten years from now, the argument of greatest QB of all time - except for the ignorant people who'll say, "Baaah! Johnny Unitas once..." - will be between him and Peyton. He'll probably have as many, and possibly more championships than Joe Montana and he's on pace to surpass him stats-wise. He's got a better TD:INT ratio, the same completion percentage and averages more yards per game. If he's healthy, he might surpass him in TDs in two years. And he's done it all, excpet in 2007, without the benefit of a great supporting cast. He won't touch Marino's totals, but he'll finish with a lot fewer INTs, a better QB rating and, obviously, many more rings. Peyton will probably hold all the passing records - except INTs - so the debate will be between them. Aside: I didn't even realize how far up Manning is. He's already 4th all-time in touchdowns (will take third this year), 7th in yards (and needs just 3,700 yards this season to move into fourth), and he's got the second best QB rating all-time. If he stays healthy, from where he already is, he's gonna destroy that record book. |

Another ring to the collection for Manning would be really nice, but he's got his one and he'll also have the numbers to back it up. He definitely should be part of the argument, but another good championship run will really help his case even more when he's being compared with the likes of Montana and Brady. |

Brady plays his home games in the elements on the northeast while Manning is in a dome. You have to take that into consideration. Peyton Manning is my favourite QB to watch, I love watching him work. At the end of the day, I think he'll end up with another Super Bowl and better numbers than Brady overall, but they are very close. They are both top 10 all time QB's. |

They have discussions on sports topics and then refer to polls to get the fans' take. Then discus the polls. It's hosted by Michelle Beadle and Colin Cowherd. It's not a bad show. |
