Stealing this idea from Rob as I have already shown in my sig. This will be a thread dedicated to former Red Sox players that rose above the call of duty, and achieved warrior status.This thread will be updated from time to time and will honor those who shall never be forgotten.

Today we will induct the first three members who shall live in immortality.

The first inductee and Captain of the Warrior Squad is a man that need no introduction to Red Sox fans nor fans around the MLB

MARK BELLHORN! [/b
]

When asked around TYZ you mention his name the first words that come to mind are; Guts, Soldier, and Clutch. After slumping at the beginning of the 2004 ALCS Bellhorn woke up for games 6, 7, and Game 1 of the World Seires, homering in all three and providing the go ahead runs in Game 6, and 1.

Our second inductee is another member of the 2004 World Series Team. A man that not only through clutch hitting, but always being a reliable source of offense and always did what was asked of him, while never wavering

BILL MUELLER

After joining the Red Sox in 2003 Mueller quickly went on to win the batting title. In 2004 he had multiple clutch hits including a walk off on July 24th which was the turning point of the Red Sox season. His biggest hit however was his game tying single against the Yankees in Game 4. Billy Ballgame as called by his teammates was a class act and soldier during his time in the hub.

The final first ballot inductee is a man that was never the most popular man in Boston. When it came to hitting bombs and being an all around presence on the field this is a man who's accomplishments and skills could never be questioned.

WILY MO PENA

Known for tape measure homers and the chance to kill someone in the stands every time he made contact makes Wily Mo a Warrior for years to come. Forever will be the most feared hitter in the Red Sox lineup during this decade Wily Mo's name shall now hang high up in Fenway Park :agent:
