Oh yeah, peep this dude out Striz. This is MF Grimm, here is one of his songs Life and Death, give it a go, tell me what you think. Not really the sh*t you like, but give it a go. I discovered him on an EP he did with Doom back in the day. Pretty good, I'm still trying to dig a lot of his sh*t up, I'll probably have to eventually put some money aside to purchase some of his sh*t through amazon because it's hard to find.

Percy Carey grew up in the Upper West Side section of Manhattan. His neighbour, Morgan Freeman, helped arrange for him to be cast as a child actor on Sesame Street, which he did for four years.[1]

"One episode, I lost my tooth, and me and Big Bird had to go through Sesame Street and try to find it," Carey remembers.[2]

While a high school student, Carey followed his passion for rap and hip-hop, doing his best to pursue a career path in music, using his talents to propel him forward.

Early in his career, he formed a DJ/rapper group called The Gravediggaz, not to be confused with the group of the same name formed by Frukwan, RZA, Prince Paul and Too Poetic. He also collaborated with hip-hop legends like Kool G Rap and KMD.[3]

In 1993, Grimm placed at the World Supremacy Battle, already known as an experienced battle rapper.[citation needed] That year, he released his first 12" single, So Whatcha Want *****? and performed at the Jack The Rapper convention on Execution Night, sharing the stage with Lady of Rage, Tupac, and Dogg Pound, in Atlanta. Grimm was soon approached by several major labels.[citation needed]

Murder attempt

In 1994, Grimm survived a murder attempt which killed his stepbrother. He was shot seven times in that incident[4] and three times in an earlier murder attempt in 1986. As a result of the 1994 attack, he was deafened, blinded, and paralyzed from the waist down. Doctors predicted that he would suffer nulled senses and be paralyzed for the rest of his life. Grimm recovered full vision, hearing, and speech ability, but is still confined to a wheelchair.

What program do you use to download your music?
For a song, I'll get it off Limewire. For albums, I use Mininova.org. It's a torrent site. You'll need a torrent downloader like BitComet (there's a bunch, but I use BitComet). Go to the site, search for the album, download the torrent (they download in a second) and then open the torrent file, which begins download of the album. You usually find more stuff and the download is better than off a P2P program. It's also good for downloading movies. Got "Miller's Crossing" a couple weeks ago. And some Steven Segal sh*t I might not get around to watching.

The Grimm track was OK. I liked the beat (old-school sound with its simplicity and the horns), but his flow wasn't on-point and I don't remember any standout lines or quotables. He's better than MF Doom - that mother f*cker - but he ain't Slaughterhouse.
