I know we've seemingly agreed for years about not caring about the primadonna personalities of certain WRS and wanting them on the Giants. I don't know about you, but I wanted T.O this off-season and in the past. I also wouldn't have minded Chad Johnson.

But there is one guy out there that is a freak athlete that I wouldn't want. That man is Brandon Marshall. I just got the feeling you'd love him and wouldn't give a sh*t that he beats his women for sport. What say you? Word is Baltimore is trying hard for him and he ain't long for Denver.

I'd take Marshall. He just turned 25 and he's like 6'5", a good route-runner, good hands and he's got deceptive speed. He doesn't run by people, but when he's in the open field, he can move. And he's got at working the middle and getting YAC. Plus he plays hard on the field and doesn't complain too often. His problems are the stupid sh*t he does mostly at home. I think he's young enough to where he can get his head out of his ass and straighten up. He doesn't strike me as the kind of moron like Chris Henry who'll probably never get right.

T.O., I'd have taken him, but I don't think he'd be a big difference-maker. He doesn't get separation like he used to and he doesn't make too many acrobatic or difficult catches. It has to be on-target. He still runs good slants and he has straight-line speed to beat corners on go routes, but Eli ain't good at throwing those. Considering all the QBs he's played with have been upper echelon (Garcia was at that point) and pretty accurate, and he's still had reason to get upset, I could see him getting frustrated easily here with Eli's flutterers, the high balls on in cuts and the passes that go 10 feet behind him when he's open outside. And Eli doesn't have the personality (or the balls) to back a teammate down and take control. It'd be a situation where Coughlin would be having to stick up for him and T.O. would turn on both of them.

Marshall is a freak at WR. I just think he's complete scum. He's worse than Henry IMO. He beat the sh*t out of his girlfriend routinely. Then, they break up, and he's found fighting his new girl in the street. I'll be shocked if he keeps himself clean. A friend who is a Bronco fan also said he was the one that started the incident that led to that CB getting shot.

Leave Marshall the f*ck alone. :fyou:

Marshall is actually a really good person. Everyone makes him out to be a complete scumbag who just beats his girls but thats really not the case. He just hangs around the wrong psycho bitches. Though he does need to be on best behaviour now. The last time he got in trouble it was just for " Verbally arguing" with his gf downtown. No hitting or anything. He just had an argument with her. Most people argue in relationships.

As for his Receiving skills... He definatly is a freak of a WR and I LOVE him in Denver. Hes 1 of few guys who I've seen that Tries for every last yard. Hes like the Barry Sanders of WR's. He will run like 10 yards backwards to go all the way across the field to gain 4 yards. Sometimes it pays off and sometimes it doesn't. But it sure as hell is fun to watch... Only problem is that he drops passes frequently as well and fumbles sometimes trying to be too cute. But he is 1 hell of a WR. I wish he'd just quit his bitching and play ball. I'd hate to lose 2 of my favorite players in 1 offseason. :bag:
