Okay, the HBO shows are usually money, well until Hung hit the air a few weeks back. Anyway, has anyone seen Easbound and Down? It's about that retired ball player "Kenny Powers" who has been retired from baseball but craves the big spotlight again and wants to make a comeback but he's back at home chasing his old flame and teaching gym class at a local middle school.

It's HILARIOUS. It's written by Will Ferrell and stars Danny McBride who is one funny f*cking dude. If anyone saw Heartbreak kid he had a small role in it playing the cousin of Ben Stiller's fling that he meets while on his honeymoon.

Anyway, I highly suggest it. I took a friends advice and started watching the re-airs of the first season on HBO2, GREAT STUFF.

I enjoyed it. I don't know how much more they can do with it though.

I'm looking forward to see where they go from here.

I'll check out Eastbound and Down when I get a chance.

Vin, did you watch Deadwood? There was so much more they could have done (it's based on actual events), but it was so expensive to produce that they canceled it after a few seasons. It was really good.

I'm also stoked for the return of Curb Your Enthusiasm. Every year they make you think it's over and then another season comes out.

Do you watch Big Love? I like that one too.

I've seen a little of Big Love here and there, not bad but never got into it like the others.

Never watched Deadwood, but I have heard very good things about it.

I'm pumped for the return of Curb, that's gonna be money.
