The Dark Side Posts: 33,036 Group: Admin Member #1 Joined: January 29, 2004	I did this before the game yesterday but didn't get to upload it until today. It went A LOT longer than I thought, so I had to reak it into 2 parts. While I was doing it, I figured it was about 6 or 7 minutes. Turns out it was double that! Time flies when you do these things. Jeter has had a better season than Cano and a better season than we'd have expected. Cano has been the one killing rallies with double plays and hitting like Betemit with runners in scoring position. How come they wind up with the same grade? And that "He gets an A because he's Mariano" sht. Come on. "Cody Nutsack." Was that mine?

Believe it or not, I have some Jeter posters, cards and a shirt myself. I wouldn't be surprised if most other 'haters' had a Jeter poster or shirt or something as well. Some of us may hate how overrated Jeter has become in recent years (to be fair, he is having a great 2009 and had a great 2006) but at least in my case there was a time when he my third favorite player on the team and easily my favorite everday player and the guy I wanted at the plate in a big spot. He can take it down if he despises the guy. Instead it's one of the first things he sees over his bed when he wakes up; that and a pipe.

I thought you were, when did you find us YES or MetroSports? Anyway, as much as I hate Jeter I have a signed autograph of him up in my boys room, I've pretty much turned their bedroom into a Yankee shrine, they both worship the Yankees as well, even my two year old. "Yankees" was one of his early words that he said.

The other was all of the MLB stadia you have been to.

You knew if they were in diapers like Drew or in a retirement home like MM. You knew how they developed the one common interest we all share, which is a love of the New York Yankees. I'll bring it back sometime soon.

I wasn't one of the hockey nuts. I posted a little bit about hockey, but not much.
