I mean I always knew he had good stuff but he's taken it to another level. He's 6-0 with a 0.40 ERA. That's 2 ER in 45 innings. He's already got three CG SHO's and 3 10K games. What a year so far.

He's the real deal Holyfield.

He's also a great example of why you don't give up on young pitchers who have shown flashes.

He wasn't jinxed by being on the SI cover either. He's given up runs since being on there, up from his previous 0.00 ERA, but he's piled up two more great starts since then.

Extreme silliness. He won't keep this up since it's impossible, but there's no chance he's finishing with those average numbers if he stays healthy.

Greinke threw another gem, but it was a classic pitchers' duel with Joe Saunders in Anaheim, and he lost. He threw a complete game-- 8 IP, 4 hits, 1 ER, 0 BB, and 5 Ks.

6-1 with a 0.51 ERA.

He might have pitched well, but that will be the first of many more to come. I say he finishes 15-11.

He'd have to go 8-10 with something like a 5 ERA to finish with Rob's prediction. Unless he completely regresses, there's not a chance in hell that's happening. Watch him pitch. I watched all of last night's gem of a loss to an even better Saunders. His stuff is filthy and he's now confident out there.

Smoke and mirrors.
Exactly, it wouldn't shock me at all if he pitched in the second half to a high 4 ERA. Flavour of the month.

That loss is still eating my asshole, then to top it off I have to watch that black Shrek looking mofo run over a kid and run over our home court like h owns the joint screaming and running around like a f*cking gorilla just let out of a cage for the first time at a Zoo full of people. Glen Davis? Are you f*cking kidding me? SICKENING!

Yeah, why on earth did he push that kid for? It didn't make sense, and the people doing the game didn't even mention it. Has it been talked about since? He should certainly be fined for that, if I was the father, I would raise a stink about it.

:furious2:

Anyway, no, I haven't heard anything about it yet I've been avoiding any commentary or reading about that game like the plague. The last thing I want to do is relive that sh*t!!!!

ORLANDO, Fla. -- The father of the 12-year-old boy bumped by Celtics big man Glen "Big Baby" Davis after Sunday's game-winning shot is demanding an apology.

Ernest Provetti told the Orlando Sentinel that he wrote the NBA office demanding an apology from Davis for acting like a "raging animal with no regard for fans' personal safety." NBA spokesman Tim Frank confirmed the league received the e-mail but declined to comment on it.

Video of the play shows Davis ducking behind a referee and stepping out of bounds as he ran back to the Celtics bench. Provetti told the paper it was his son, Nicholas, whose hat fell off as Davis bumped him.

Celtics spokesman Jeff Twiss said Davis was not available for comment. The Magic also declined to comment.

Could you imagine the outrage if A Rod ran over and pushed some fan while he was celebrating like a maniac. I know in baseball fans aren't that close to the action, but the outcry would be INSANE if A Rod did what big baby did.

Vin and Rob are way off on this one. 15-12 w/4.35 ERA would basicly mean he'd crash and burn the rest of the season.

Yep.

And by August, when that ERA is close enough to sniff 4.00, he'll be back in the doldrums. He'll seriously contemplate suicide by September, then go missing on a road trip. Zach Grienke = Barrett Robbins.
