The Devils choked away a 3-2 lead in the closing minutes of the game. What fagget efforts by both teams, today. The Giants are the only NY/NJ-area team that hasn't completely embarrassed itself the last five years or so.

That old Islander Wizard from the Wine Country up North sent me an e mail tonight!

:worthy: :worthy: :worthy: :worthy: :worthy: :worthy:

From: HOCKEYBOYNORTH

HOCKEY BOY NORTH is an old hockey islander wizard from up north during the days of the inception of the ny islanders who is now based in the wine country

only left to spread myths and long tails of grandeur based on the superlatives of the once great and all powerful ny islanders.

to mere mortals he can only be addressed by,

:worthy: :worthy: :worthy: :worthy: HOCKEY BOY NORTH

Sori,

YOU ARE THE ONLY ONE LEFT TO SPREAD MY WORD, AS I HEAR THE OLD GUARD HIMSELF, LEDZEP, HAS BEEN BARRED AND EXILED FROM THE BOARDS. I WISH DEAR OLD ZEP THE BEST AND I KNOW HE HOLDS NO GRUDGES, THAT'S NOT HIS STYLE. YOU FOLKS ARE LUCKY TO STILL HAVE SORI, HE SPREADS MY MYTHS AND LEGENDARY TALES THAT I SPEAK TO HIM THROUGH ELECTRONIC MAIL. I WANT TO FIRST SAY HOW SWEET IT IS TONIGHT TO SEE THE RAGERS GO DOWN LIKE THEY DID. TYPICAL RAGER FASHION INDEED. BOY, THOSE SLOBISH RED, WHITE AND BLUE FANS WERE SO FULL OF THEMSELVES AT 2-0 AND 3-1. I JUST LOVE HOW THEY EMBARRASSED THEMSELVES AND WERE MADE TO LOOK LIKE PEASANTS.

They truly are, ASSCLOWNS 4 LIFE.

Best Wishes to you and your family my dear friend, Sori.

The Great
Hockey Boy NOrth

Consider yourself lucky you weren't at the game.

I'd have been pissed if I spent a ticket on that shet. I'm still pissed about that loss, f*cking Martin overrated Brodeur.

That was the most shocking thing I've ever seen, I mean they were up by a goad with a minute in a half left or something only to give up 2 goals in a minute. That's NUTS!

Not just two goals, two SOFT goals. If the f*cking idiots had cleared the puck before the goal that tied it up, the 'Canes never get a chance to win it. But now, they don't clear the zone and then the fourth goal is just some stupid shot that had no business going in but Broduer failed the team again, he's been doing that a lot without top notch defensemen to save his ass. Every goalie needs defense in front of him, but Broduer can thank his great stats on having all-time great defenses in front him. Without them, he's been exposed. I don't care what the stats say, there is no way you see goals like that last one ever go in on Patrick Roy. Hell I don't even need to talk about retired goalies. Lundqvist wouldn't let in a goal like that.

He lets a lot of soft goal in like that because he is a hybrid goalie and not butterfly. (No that is not a excuse) but because of that he needs to rely on purely on reaction and positioning. And for whatever f*cking reason this guy decided to start playing way out of his crease during this series.

That whole breakdown was a combination of a lot of things. Parise even f*cked up there. Instead of clearing the puck up open ice he shot it back around the boards into our own zone. Havelid is world class pile of sh*t who was totally out of position on the Staal goal.

They would have been smoked next round anyway. When Colin No Eyes White and Mike f*ckin Mottau are your shut down pair in the playoffs you aren't going very far.

But like I said no excuses. The tying goal was all on the D and it was a wide open net but the Staal goal even though Havelid was not on his man HAS TO be stopped. That game at the worst has to get in OT.

I agree with you- a lot of goalies don't let that happen. Just because I am a Devils fan I am not blinded by what I see. Marty is great- always has been for us but he is not the "best ever". Mike Richter makes that save, Belfour makes that save, Hasek makes it, f*cking Clemmensen makes it- me and you make it.

It was disgusting! Worse loss I have ever seen live in my life.

I'm just glad I'm not as big a NHL (or NBA) fan as I am an MLB and NFL fan. The Yankees and Jets put me through enough. This loss annoys the crap out of me, but I'll be over it by mid-next week probably, when the Yankees and Juets feck up, it sticks with me into the next season. Hell 2003 and 2004 still have me infuriated.
