Tell me the last time the Juets actually drafted somebody worth a shet because I can't remember. They'll probably get Freeman if he's still available at No. 17 and he'll be a bust, just like everyother piece of sh*t we bring in. Edited by Yanksfan03, Apr 24 2009, 06:56 PM.

 I agree. I think Freeman sucks and I PRAY Denver doesn't get him. But I don't think we will. Would you be happy with Sanchez? And heres an old vid I'm sure you've seen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rZxNeFLuY98  |

Yeah, I've seen that video more than a few times. You would think the Juets and most of their fans would be embarrassed but apparently not. And no, I wouldn't be happy with Sanchez, he'd be pure garbage here. They should've got Cutler, period, but they fecked that up and this season and many more along with it. They wanted to bring back a 40-year-old washed up hick who's always been very overrated but when they had a chance to get a potential franchise QB they didn't want to pay the price. Pathetic, you have to give to get, now they have to go with the No. 17 pick and see what they end up with. I hope whoever they get is as big a joke as some of the other clowns they've drafted. |

With the exceptions of Washington and Mangold, I hate all those guys. Rhodes is pretty overrated, wasn't even a factor last year on defense. Hell, nobody did sh*t on defense last year. Even Revis, who everybody is sucking off, didn't impress me. Lets see him string together a bunch of good years before acting like he's awesome.

 If they get Campbell they're dumber than I thought. He's better than the current sh*t on our roster, but he's not as good as Jay Cutler. |

What did Keller do to piss you off? And of the bunch, I think the most overrated one is Mangold. Revis was probably the second best cover corner in the league last year. And he's 23. |

Nothing really. You know me, I'm a hater. I think the problem is the organization as a whole pisses me off and fair or not, that hatred seeps down from the owner to most of the players whether that hatred is deserved or not. 20 years of watching futility will do that to you. Thier the Raiders. Did you expect anything else? And now we got Moreno. We need defense but sometimes your best running game is your best defense. I'm hoping for Rey at #18. And f*ck.. I just turned to the Yanks game and were only up by 1 now. :furious: :furious: |

Bunch of f*cking morons! So let me get this straight... You don't even try for Jay Cutler, a good, young, established NFL QB 'because the price was too steep' (cry me a river, you have to give to get sometimes) yet you trade your first round pick, your second round pick and THREE players for a guy who hasn't even played in the League because you like his attitude? This franchise is beyond stupid. Look, I don't give a sh*t about Ratliff or really even Coleman or Elam but the fact that they didn't even seek out what the Broncos wanted and then turn around and do this really, REALLY pisses me off. I HATE this stupid organization, Sanchez will be a major bust and stuff like this is why the Juets will NEVER win a Super Bowl again. |

LMAO, YF is already declaring Sanchez a bust! :bc: The Brown did not get great value in my mind in this deal, we moved up 12 spots and it cost us a QB you already hated in Ratliff, Coleman and Elam, so to sum it up nothing of great significance and a 2nd rd pick and Sanchez is already a bust, good stuff. :bc: |

Could've got Cutler for the same crap. I already said I don't give a sh*t about those players, doesn't mean I have to jump on the 'Sanchez is our savior' bandwagon either. He's more likely to be our version of Matt Leinart than our version of Peyton Manning. Edited by Yanksfan03, Apr 26 2009, 12:04 AM.

This team's two biggest needs were at QB and WR, they addressed one in the first round and I hope they address WR in the third round. Sanchez could be a bust, he could be great or he could just be medicore, we shall see. I'm not going to call the kid a bust yet though, that's just not my way. I have to give him a fair shake. |

How have our highly touted first-round QBs worked out in the past? This franchise had a chance to get a young, established QB in Cutler but they didn't want to part with people. Then all the sudden two draft picks and three players is worth it for a guy with ZERO NFL experience? Ridiculous. That is not how you sell me on a guy and to be fair, I'm a little more critical than most fans. But after all the losing I'd rather a more can't-miss great player than Mark Sanchez. I really think he's being overrated.

I agree. A similar deal could've probably gotten Cutler. And Sanchez hangs his deep balls and doesn't have the tightest spiral. There'll be some wobblers in the Stadium wind. Unless they think/hope the new stadium won't have the same swirling winds. |

He's a solid player. Problem is he projects as a #2 receiver. He's a possession man. He's not fast (4.50 40) and he's not big (6'1"/210). Just because someone is productive in college doesn't mean they're a great prospect. And he played at North Carolina. They ain't playing no SEC or Big 10 bitchuva schedule. If you check the game logs, he probably never went against many corners who'll get drafted. I like that he's a good route runner and he's got good hands... but that doesn't matter when Eli is throwing passes to his imaginary friend, Gheorghe Muresan. Who's the red zone threat now among the wideouts? The William Beatty pick I have to look into. His scouting report looks good (he's a pass blocker who projects to left tackle, so if he develops the Giants could move Diehl to RT and cut McKenzie before his backloaded contract starts hurting them and save money because Diehl's deal has his salary lowered if he moves from LT), but he played at Connecticut. He might not have faced one NFL pass-rusher. Like Guy Whimper didn't. But I'll have to watch some footage of him before I have a strong opinion. Clint Sintim, I think, might be a waste. I figure he's gonna be moved inside or used as a situational pass rusher (20 sacks his last two years @ Virginia). But still, he's a 4.78 guy who isn't good in coverage and one of those "relies on instincts" linebackers. He's in the same boat as Jonathan Goff and Bryan Kehl (although Kehl looked more fluid and faster in his drills than the times indicated at the Combine last year). He'll be playing special teams. And he doesn't have a good linebacker name. That's a college player name. |
