I'd rather see him pitch and pitch terribly, actually. |

I used to want him to blow out his arm, but I've changed on that. I agree with Drew. It's more fun to watch him pitch to an infinite ERA and embarass himself, now that he's no longer a Yankee. |

If he gets hurt, they'll just replace him. If he's still pitching, he's hurting the team. That's better for us. |

I would never wish injury upon a player. It's fun to see him struggle though. |

I would. I hope he losses 20 games with an ERA around 6. Then tears his rotator cuff in his last start of the season and has to retire. |

Oh man, I can't f*cking wait!!!!! INdians now 1-7...Pavano of course fell to 0-2 tonight. People were high on the Indians, and it's still insanely early but their pitching has scared me since day one. I know Lee was 22-3 last year, but he's been up and down his whole career and was not any type of given to be an ace that you can count on let alone even win 15 or 16 games. Fatso has had one good year, das it. And when you are counting on Pavano to be your 3rd starter? :bc: Perez has been shaky in the pen, Bentancourt hasn't been the same as he was in '07. Kerry Wood? INjury waiting to happen, hell they can't even get him the ball at this point. Watch them come in to the Bronx and sweep us! :bag: On a side note Rob, you think Pavano makes that start? Or will he come up with an ailment to avoid pitching against the Yankees? Or maybe the Indians don't want him to pitch that game. We shall see. |

He'll either not pitch or will pitch a good game. Obviously it would be perfect if he pitches and gets rocked, but knowing Pavano, he will shut the Yankees down, or will sit it out with some BS ailment. Perhaps my favorite line of "The Yankee Years" was Mussina referring to the 15-day DL as the "15-day Pavano" or something like that. |
