The Jets better fecking trade for him, I don't care what it takes. He may turn out to be very good-great or he very well may amount to shet but I do NOT want to go into this season counting on Kellen Clemens or Brett Ratliff, and spare me the bullshit about Ratliff's pre-season last year, I know Jets fans who have made a big deal about that for a whole year now like it earns him a chance, that is a f*cking joke. The other QB on the roster is Erik Ainge. All the money we've spent the last two offseasons and these are the guys who we've got under center, it's infuriating. Not that I wanted that shithead Brett Favre back either though. It's amazing to me these jackasses haven't developed a good franchise QB in forever. But here is a chance to get a potential franchise QB in Cutler if the Broncos do end up having to move him. The Jets need to be major players in this.

B-Rat is my man, but I feel you 100 percent. If they are going to deal Cutler, the Jets have to go at him and do whatever it takes to bring him in. As much as I like Ratliff, I can be real, he is a MAJOR question mark as is Clemens as well. There is a very good chance that neither of these guys are going to be decent let along a franchise QB, so if you can get a franchise QB you trade for him.

They should make a hard push for him (no homo). I'd thought about the Lions offering the 1st overall, but I don't know if that'd be ideal for the Broncos. Cutler is signed for three more years at a reasonable rookie contract (he was picked 11th overall) and top 3 picks these days are getting ridiculous money. Matt Ryan got $72M last year as the #3 pick, so Stafford would probably want at least that as the #1. Maybe it would work better with the Jets. They could give up their first (#17) and third (#76 from the Saints) and Kellen Clemens (since the Broncos would need a QB to hold it down for a year). And, if pushed, give up their 2nd rounder instead of the 3rd. The Broncos could use their own pick, No. 12, to snag Mark Sanchez or Josh Freeman and the Jets', No. 17, to get o-line or d-line help.

If the Jets got Cutler, they could use their highest remaining pick on a receiver and then sign Torry Holt (they should still have a good amount of cap space). Jay Cutler behind a quality line, throwing to Holt, Cotchery and Keller, with Jones and Washington at RB - sounds like a decent offense.

I don't think Cutler will get traded, though. I get the feeling he'll have enough people in his ear telling him he's behaving like a child and hurting his image and Broncos management will start stroking his back hair and telling him what he wants to hear. He'll calm down and apologize and say he's committed to the Broncos and wants to bring a championship to Denver. The media just loves to play sh*t up and go crazy about sh*t an athlete says while he's heated. The Bengals had to trade Chad Johnson. And there was no way things could work with the Cardinals and Boldin. We haven't heard about that much, have we? Athletes talk that hard sh*t, but they eventually give in. And if you're the Broncos, there's no sense in trading your 25-year-old Pro Bowl (although Rivers was much more deserving) quarterback and starting over. But if the Jets are gonna try it, they jump in now and make a strong offer, before the Broncos calm down. Maybe you can catch them not thinking straight.

I don't think he's going to get traded either, especially the longer this drags on. I'm stunned the Jets didn't make a hard push for him as soon as they heard about the trade demands. But the idiots running the show there seem to think they already have a good QB on the roster and if it wasn't going to be Clemens or Ratliff it was going to be over the hill Brett Favre.

Bunch of f*cking morons.

DANA POINT, Calif. - Jay Cutler wants out of Denver and the Jets have told the Broncos they want him if they decide to trade him.

Multiple sources told the Daily News Sunday at the opening of the NFL meetings that Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum contacted the Broncos to let them know the Jets are very interested in trading for Cutler. But the Jets have yet to make a trade offer, and the Broncos have not said what they want, because Denver has not determined the Cutler situation is beyond repair.

Keep your f*cking Hands off Jay. :fyou: :fyou: :furious: :furious:
:laugh2:
Not funny bro
I'm attached to Jay. And the last thing I want his him to go elsewhere.
To bad McDoofus had to f*ck sh*t up for us and piss Jay off.
Although if Jay was in New York .. You and everyone on here would hate him and want him gone I bet  He'd throw 15 INT's and go 10-6 and y'all would miss the playoffs and you would hate him. :fyou: :fyou:
If we got Denver a defense we'd be pretty sick.

Look at Jays stats:

0-22 Points allowed ---- 12-1
23-29 Points allowed --- 2-6
30-34 Points Allowed --- 2-6
35-39 Points Allowed--- 1-2
40+ Points Allowed--- 0-5

Total --- 17-20

Thats with how much his D gave up. Get Jay a Defense and watch out.
But IF he shows up to the Mandatory camps which he says he will, and if he and Josh can co-exist then he will remain in Denver.

So everyone leave him alone. Denver doesn't want him going anywhere. :furious: :furious: :furious:

U DIGG??? :wtf:  :bag:

I'd only hate Cutler if he's costing us games and the playoffs with stupidity. That's the sh*t I can't stand and it's why I hated Brett Favre.

 Then you'd probably Hate Jay. Although he doesn't cost us games but he has put us in a hole a few times. Although hes pretty clutch when it counts But he throws some stupid ass INT's. Hes like a younger version of Favre. You'd hate Jay in no time. :agent:

It depends, I was able to tolerate Favre for 11 games, he pissed me the f*ck off at times during the 8-3 start but it wasn't until the final five games when I began to hate his guts. INTs will happen and I can even tolerate stupid ones from time to time but if it's the norm and it starts costing the team, yeah I'd hate anybody who's stupidly throwing games away.

Eh, I love Jay. He makes mistakes but hes still Young. And 1 thing that I LOVE about him. Is that he doesn't make the same mistake twice. IF he throws an INT, he almost always leads us on a TD Drive the next time we have the ball. But with our Defense giving up 400 plus points last year, he had us at 8-8. Pretty impressive. I'd hate to see Jay leave Denver. But if he went to the Jets, I could talk football on this site more with ya'll. :agent:

The Chicago Bears pulled the big upset Thursday afternoon by acquiring Denver Broncos quarterback Jay Cutler.

The Broncos confirmed the trade.

To acquire Cutler, the Bears had to give up quarterback Kyle Orton and first-round picks in 2009 and 2010, along with a third-round pick in 2009.

To complete the trade, the Broncos had to give back a fifth-round pick in 2009. That pick was acquired by the Broncos from the Seattle Seahawks in a trade for wide receiver Keary Colbert.

The Bears beat out the Redskins, Buccaneers, Lions, Titans and other teams to get land the 25-year-old Pro Bowl quarterback.

The Broncos had been asking for at least two first-round choices.

Cutler had not returned phone calls from the Broncos, according to the team, and had been staying away from the offseason program.

Cutler to Chicago

Looks like all the (stupid) Juet fans who want Clemens or Ratshit get their wish. SON OF A BETCH! :fyou: I f*cking hate, HATE this organization. When a washed up 39-year-old overrated piece of garbage is available go out and get him, but when a 25-year-old with franchise QB potential is out there, just sit back and do f*cking sh*t. I've had it, done, end this sad chapter in NY sports history by moving this pitiful franchise to the left coast, please. It's obvious our GM and stupid shithead of an owner don't give a crap about winning they're only about selling tickets, that was the point of Favre last year as well, it obviously wasn't about winning, f*cking c-stains. This team is going to win with the absolute trash we're throwing out there at QB? Are we going to draft somebody? Who? Marc Sanchez? BULLSHET! They should've given the Broncos whatever they wanted, period. 20 years of this and I'm not doing it anymore this is a lost franchise, they've always been lost, they'll always be lost. :fyou:

Before I kill the Jets I need to know all the circumstances. It could be the Broncos wanted him out of the AFC and were only willing to deal with an NFC team. Who knows, I can't kill the Jets yet on this one.

I'm rooting for him as well... to throw 50 ints.

Seriously Vin, you can't possibly believe this guy is going to amount to anything but a steaming pile of dog shet. He's done f*cking nothing in his career except have a couple good quarters in pre-season against f*cking third stringers, whoopief*ckingdoo. Every Jets fan should be PISSED right now. We haven't had a real QB for years.

If real QB means a franchise QB, probably not. Vinny did have one of the best seasons in Jet history and a season many QB's would love to have back in 98. Chad had one hell of a season in 02 as well, both were good QB's who gave us a great season each to enjoy. Do I think Rat can be something special? No, I highly doubt that. Can he be a solid QB? I don't know maybe. At this point that's our options and we have to live with it. I have to give this franchise credit last year for getting Favre. It didn't work out, but we all wanted the move to be made we didn't have to give up much as it turned out and although it didn't work, I'm still glad we made the move. It showed me this team put their chips in the middle and tried. I can't kill them for not getting Cutler. I don't know the circumstances. Maybe they were shot down by the Broncos. Who knows at this point. I'm just going to hope either Rat or Clemens shocks the world and steps up. Is it likely, of course not. But, We shall see.

Right. I understand YF's frustration and am glad not to be a Jets fan, but what did the Jets have to offer? I assume the Broncos wanted a starting QB and picks, which is what they got. If Ratliff sucks as much as YF says he does, why would Denver want him? Orton is certainly not anything special, but he has started in the league, and gives them a stopgap starting option other than Chris Simms. Perhaps the Jets tried and were turned down. It looks like many teams probably tried and were turned down.

We could've taken a hit on defense if we had to to get Cutler. No excuses, the Jets front office whored it up, AGAIN, just like they always do. Nothing ever changes with this franchise, they will continue to be a joke and will continue to piss me the f*ck off until somebody decides to do us a favor by moving this joke out of NY. They're second rate and the best part.. they have NO problem being second rate, absolutely sickening. Take this f*cking clown act to California where the fans could care less about winning.

And I don't have to 'deal with' anything. Just because the Jets like to be mediocre doesn't mean I have to like it. How about our lazy ass GM gets off his f*cking couch for once and does something. His biggest moves this offseason are Bart Scott and Rex Ryan, a first-year head coach. Yeah, there's a winning formula. :furious:

For Favre all we were competing with were the Bucs. For Cutler we probably had 8-10 teams lined up trying to make offers. I wanted him as well, I'm far from sold on Ratliff after some good preseason performances against ham and eggers. However, I'm more for Ratliff and Clemens battling it out then say giving the job to a Leftwich or Garcia who are guys out there who have started before and had some flashes of success. Might as well let these young guys who have come up in our system duke it out if we can't get a franchise guy. Maybe you pull gold out of your ass. I doubt, but I'm all for it at this point if we can't have a top of the line guy. Maybe you give Sanchez or Freeman a go with your pick. Who knows. I understand why you are frustrated YF, but this wasn't as simple as throwing money at Cutler as if he was a free agent. If we got outbid or didn't do enough to bring him in with money as a free agent that is one thing. When you are competing with many teams trying to put a trade package together, sometimes you just don't have what the other team is looking for. Maybe Denver wanted him not only out of division but out of conference.

Come on YF, you can say what you want right now but none of us know what went on. Let's at least wait till Mr. T is on with Fatcesa or someone else and hear what he has to say. With all this being said, Jay Cutler is not Joe Montana, Tom Brady, Peyton Manning or anything close to those guys. He still has a lot to prove in this league. Maybe he ends up being a great QB, maybe he ends up having a solid career, maybe he turns out to be shet and chokes it up in Chicago. This guy was not going to promise us anything. Let's just wait and see and let Mr. T speak his peace as well.

I don't care to hear what Tannenbum has to say, especially when he goes on Fatsesser's show because Fatsesser will just be sucking him off the whole time, and of course the guy isn't going to say something to make it look like he isn't doing his job. f*ck him. They HAD to get Cutler, they did NOT get Cutler, that's the bottomline. Another epic failure by the Juet organization. They just can't get enough of doing that.

The Jets have had a lot of lean years, we haven't won it all since 1969 as we all know. We had the Kotite years which were just the absolute bottom. However, this franchise has been pretty f*cking solid since Parcells took it over. 8 of our last 11 years have been .500 or better. 5 playoff appearances in that time. 3 playoff wins, 2 division titles. I mean I want championships don't get me wrong, but compared to where this franchise was from 1970-1997, we've come a long f*cking way and there are a lot more inept franchises in the NFL then the New York Jets, that's for damn sure. New Yorkers who root for the Knicks can feel a drought similar to the Juets though when it comes to the bottom line of winning championships. They haven't won sh*t since the 72-73 season. Our day will come, it might be after I'm dead unfortunately, but it will come.
