Breaking news. I'm hearing it on ESPN, which claims that Chris Mortensen broke it. So, most likely, he bit it off Jay Glazer.

Breakinger news: Favre, once he's done crying, will begin negotiations with the Vikings.

Any news about possible Favre retirements or comebacks from two-week retirements should simply be ignored. How would he react to that as the attention whore that he is? How would his lackies react? I wish everyone would give that route a try.

I bet Vinnie is excited for the Roger Clemens/Theo Ratliff era.

I'm BIG on Rat, that's my dude right there!!! Plus I'm all for trying to bring Leftwich in to fight for the job or maybe even Derek Anderson. We shall see.

I kinda wanna see Clemens get a full season with a decent team. The guy was a 2nd round pick and it'll be four years and you still don't know what you've got. Ratliff's only 23 and doesn't make much, so he can wait a year (or 8 games, if Clemens sucks). At least make it a competition. And Ratliff wasn't really good in camp last year. He just did well in the preseason games (particularly the bombs to Clowney). That's what the fans see. Not him throwing pick-6s to Dwight Lowery in practice.

According to the Daily News: Favre filed his retirement papers, so it's official. Which means there's only a 50% chance of him showing up on the Vikings roster in July.

For sure, I'll miss the child-like enthusiasm. He's a little boy out there, running around having so much fun.
