Vinnie, Rex Ryan should immediately be inducted into the Cool Cats Hall of Fame.

I believe Rex will make them forget all about Mangini....till they look in the standings and see him winning with his new team! He reminds me in hindsight (Mangini) of Belichick, not easy to root for. They both have difficult personalities and do nothing to help themselves!

Why do you expect Mangini to win with the Browns? And he reminded lots of people in fore-sight of Belichick. He was his disciple; someone who'd been around Belichick since he was young, knew him, studied him and tried to be like him. They called him "Little Bill" over there. That's probably the main reason the Jets hired him. And he ran the organization the way the Patriots do, in terms of closed doors, zipped lips and placidity. Difference is - and it's a big one - he didn't have Belichick's acumen. Or the roster talent.

Haha, I didn't mean it was you. I just wanted to nominate Rex for the Cool Cats Club and this guy's post reminded me to do it.

He will win with the Browns. I'm stating it as a fact. He will get them to be a force to be reckoned with. As much as he was a Bellichick disciple......I never saw him as little Bill when he was with the Jets. In fact, I thought that was blown way out of proportion. He never had a chance here though....from day one he looked like a Deer caught in the headlights.

To me Rex looks much more comfortable with the job already. I'm expecting big things from his team once he gets things going.

So what about Mangini (and the Browns) makes you think he'll be successful there?

He'll win with the Browns for the simple fact that the Juets are a cursed franchise and nothing ever goes right with us.

Oh yeah Matty, Rex is definitely up for Cool Cats consideration. Maybe he will get a shout out in the video come August when the '09 Cool Cats are announced.

You know why nothing goes right for the Juets? Because they're a second-rate franchise and they have no problem being one. Rex Ryan is another f*cking yes man who will cave to anything our idiot owner and GM want. Brian Schittenheimer is the absolute WORST offensive coordinator in the league so lets bring him back. GREAT CHOICE! Brett Favre QUIT on the team last year and threw 22 picks, lets welcome him back with open arms.

f*ck this franchise. If I could talk to Woody Johnson I'd beg him to move the team to f*cking LA where the fans give as much a sh*t about winning as he does. f*cking scumbag.
