I honestly think that this team hasn't been the same since the Plax incident, that killed this team. Plus all the hype hurts as well. This team since about Week 3 or 4 was crowned the champs. Last year no pressure flew under the radar, I think that is much easier on a team. Look at the Pats last year, I think the heat just got to them and the Giants came in and snatched it all from them.

YEEEEEER OUTTA HERE!!!

They can blame this defeat on Burress’ stupidity all the want in the Fox broadcast booth. The simple fact of the matter is that Eli didn’t get the job done when guys were open and plays needed to be made. I hope he will someday prove to me that he is more than a mediocre QB who can get hot on a streak, but I still don’t see it.

I hope Kevin Gilbride gets the Oakland job.

Hype doesn't hurt a team that much. I think people make waaaaay too much of that. Hype hurts a fan because when their expectations are that high, it's really deflating. Hype had nothing to do with Eli being an inaccurate f*ck who can't throw a tight spiral. He's never been a good thrower. Hype had nothing to do with three mother f*ckers (especially that dipshit Motumbo) letting McNabb escape a sure sack and convert a 3rd & 20. Hype had nothing to do with the Gilbride letting Manning chuck into the wind early when it was clear he couldn't complete passes or even throw a decent-looking incompletion and then running when the team fell behind late so they could show even less of a sense of urgency than they normally do - which is very little.

I've taped all the games this season (no, I ain't spending on a f*cking DVR because I barely watch TV) but, unlike years past, I haven't re-watched a game in its entirety. I'm gonna review this one. I'm gonna put sh*t in slow motion like I was doing in 2004 and I'll chart everything - every play, every play call - that was wrong. So many calls were stupid. They were out-coached and out-quarterbacked.

And with a year left on Eli's contact ($8.95M in 2009), he'll likely get re-signed this offseason. Probably something like 7 years/$110M, which is about the going rate. Coming off this performance, that'll be pleasant to hear when it's announced.

The Manning brothers will be in a Oreo Cookies “lick off” competition. My prediction is that Eli’s tongue will never touch the cookie. Either it will be off target or intercepted.

Hey Strider,........I'm pissed even though I was pretty much on target with where they finished for the season! This was an ugly game, and Gilbride sucks! I thought the play calls were way too predictable, I thought they didn't utilize Ward early enough or properly, and I thought the ENTIRe offense except for JACOBS and WARD was flat and a bit lethargic. ELI was terrible.......the receivers were terrible, and I now have to worry about what this team will do at the wideout position! They DEFINITELY were as mediocre and predictable as they were end of the season in large pat due to the Plaxico situation.....I don't know where they go to fix that! Also, Pierce pissed me off yet again today......I'm really starting not to like him....he's not good enough to be costing this team on big plays and make up for it later in the game . It will be a very long and nauseating off season to be sure, and I am interested to see what kind of moves are made. The Giants lost this game....Philly didn't win it!

I"M SOOOOO FECKIN PISSED RIGHT NOW! It's one thing to lose to the better team....it's another to lose because you were not prepared and didn't play to the best of your ability!!!!!!!

What a f*cking disaster.

Opie Manning played like absolute dogshit. Combine that with atrocious play-calling, the inability to stop the Eagles on big 3rd downs, and our inability to pick up 6 inches when we needed it killed us. I would have rather went 6-10 missed the f*cking playoffs and reveled in last years win till next year. But no, I had a big fat hardon all f*cking year and then we lose 4 out of 5 and completely sh*t the bed at the end.

Actually, put that 3rd and 20 and the 3rd and 10 aside and the D played a good game...We shut down Westbrook and basically held them to 16 points becuase that first TD was all on Eli. As a matter of fact, it's all on Eli. He doesnt play like a complete piece of garbage and we win that game. Although I think if we had better play calling we may have won that game in spite of Eli playing like my sisters ass.

I'm so f*cking pissed right now. All that good feeling from last year right down the shitter. f*ck Eli. Last year washes this year, that ***** is right back where he started. He was no better than average this year. He got covered up by the running game and Defense and the miracle from last year. Take this year by itslef, with no SB last year, and a first round bed shitting this season, after the season he had we'd been running his dopey ass all the way back to missisippi....He better f*cking play like Joe Montana and f*cking win it all next year or I want him gone.
