Free agent to be, 29 years old. Had a rough 2008 with an ERA of 4.90 but has shown he can be a solid pitcher in the American League before and is still young. I'm not suggesting him instead of getting a Sabbathia, Burnett or Peavy but he'd be a good second pitcher signed and probably would outperform Lowe over the length of their contracts. |
