The Rays are up 3-1, same situation the Indians were in last year. The Indians choked. The Rays better finish them in Game 5. No f*cking around, KILL THEM! :furious: |

I still hate Torre for going to El Duque for game 4 in '04, and not Mussina. With Moose on the hill, we would have ended it right there. |

The good thing is that this years Ray's team is better than the '04 Yanks and last years Indians and this Sox team is worse than the one that won in '04 and '07. |

I still think the Sox will come back and win and then sweep the World Series. |

Torre did a lot of dumbshit, but if Rivera does his job we win Game 4 regardless. I had a bigger problem with him not calling for a pitch out when everybody and their mother knew Roberts was stealing. Edited by Yanksfan03, Oct 15 2008, 09:03 AM.

I disagree, Duque wasn't bad in that game, the ball was in Mo's hands and we were 3 outs from winning the AL Pennant. Mo gets most of the blame, but that series was terribly managed by Torre. |

Oh yeah, here is the key difference between this year and last year. Yes, the Tribe was up 3-1 and choked. However, after the Sox won Game 5 Behind a STUDLY effort by the great Josh Beckett the were going back home for Game 6 and 7. This year they have to go to Tampa for 6 and 7 and don't have the home luxury. Plus the Rays have a MUCH better offense and the biggest key, Josh Beckett is hurt. He obviously isn't himself and that is just HAUGE. |

The Rays are going with Kazmir in game 5. He was gutless in game 2, he better nut the feck up and pitch like an ace. If the Sox win tomorrow they are winning the series, end of story.
That's the same shet Sabathia was saying last year. I don't care how loose you feel, man up and end them while you have a chance. You give this Sox team an inch and they will take a mile. |

Kazmir and Fenway is a recipe for disaster. He sucked against the Sox this year to begin with. I'll be shocked if the Rays win tomorrow especially with him on the hill. |

I hope you realize how foolish you sound. These are the Red Sox. They came back down 2-0 on the A's. They came back down 3-0 to the Yankees. They came back down 3-1 on the Indians. They came back down 7-0 today with 2 outs in the bottom of the 7th. They are the f*cking same, did you not watch them all year? This team will not lose until they are BEATEN. The Rays had to destroy them today. Yeah, it was 7-0, but they had 2 men on with 0 outs and didn't score again. Gutless Longoria hits into a DP and Crawford grounds out. The "great" Longoria shits himself on the field and makes a huge error that cost his team the win. |

:laugh2: I told a couple people to shut the f*ck up today. "Oh, I'm gonna text [my Red Sox fan friend] now and talk some sh*t. Hahahaha," the person said. This was when it was 5-0. I said: "It's funny how you just don't get it. The Sox have them right where they want them. The Sox like to do this, just so the comeback is more spectacular for them and extra crushing to the other team and takes the fight out of them. WHEN the Sox come back and win this sh*t in extra innings, it'll cripple the Rays for the rest of the series. The Rays might come out fairly competitive in Game 6, might even take an early lead, but after the first Boston surge, they'll fold like laundry. And they'll get blown out in Game 7. You send that text, you'll look like a fool." I left after that. I don't know if the text was sent. |

There are three whores who absolutely should not have left Fenway tonight without getting a beatdown. Joe Maddon, Grant Balfour and Dan Wheeler. All three are overrated pieces of shet. Think about this for a second, not even Joke Torre blew a seven-run lead in a post season game. Yeah, he lost a 3-0 series lead but TWICE he had his closer on the mound with a lead, as dumb as he was, he wasn't as dumb as this idiot. The decision to use Kazmir was dumb, yet it worked out, he had the Sox handcuffed, 7-0 you stick with him, instead this asshole goes to those two whoring slobs and LETS THEM LOSE THE GAME! I don't want to hear anymore about this overrated gutless team or their overrated gutless manager or their fraud fans. Edited by Yanksfan03, Oct 17 2008, 12:53 AM.

Joe Maddon was managing scared. There was no reason to go to the bullpen that early. Who cares if Kazmir was over 100 pitches?! It's the f*cking playoffs and the 6th was probably his best inning. He should have pitched the 7th. Then he brings in Dan Wheeler in the 7th!! Is he CRAZY?! His Manager of the Year award should be stripped from him as soon as he gets it. |

Yeah, only a fecking imbecile does that. Like I said, I actually think he's dumber than Torre and that's saying quite a bit.

No question now the Sox will win this now. The Rays for the first time have pressure on them. They are cooked. |
