I really think the Dodgers would listen to a Kemp for Cano and something else deal. Especially after Kemp didn't get the start tonight. As much as I like the idea of trading Cano for a front line young pitcher I don't see it happening anywhere. Kemp has just as much potential as Cano plus he plays a very good centerfield. I'd trade Cano and Kennedy for him and not look back.

LF Damon
SS Jeter
3B A-Rod
1B Teixeira (7/150)
DH Matsui
RF Nady
C Posada
CF Kemp
2B Orlando Hudson (4/38)

RH Wang
RH Burnett (4/62.5)
RH Joba
RH Lowe (3/36)
RH Hughes

That's an additional 50 million in signings for the lineup and rotation which equals about Giambi, Pettite and Mussina's contracts from 2008.

Damn, I like it but let's find a way to swap out Lowe for CC. I really think that if we throw enough cash CC's way he can be had, f*ck the West Coast. I don't think when push comes to shove he would pass up more money for a home on the West Coast.

I love Orlando Hudson at 2B, and would love to deal Cano for Kemp who has his issues as well but could at least fill the void in CF til Jackson is ready. Kemp is a much better option then Damon playing CF or Muelky or Gardner.

Agreed. Forget Lowe. We missed on Santana. Let's get greedy this time:

Sabathia
Burnett
Tex
Hudson

Any offseason plan that doesn't include Manny isn't worth my time.

Manny will be a $7million hitter this year. Not bad, but not worth it.

Crazy I tell you crazy. Cano will be dynomite next year. Cano is least of the Yankee problems. Number one pitcher and who's gonna get those homers that Giambi usually smacks is no one problem. I don't want Cano traded.....Cano is smooth at 2nd base with an occassional bone head play.... :wtf:

A 7 million hitter? Huh?

I give Manny 5/100+ before I give Tiexiera 10/200+ any day of the week.
