Five shutout innings so far tonight after a tough loss for Boston last night. This off his stellar game one outing as well. What an absolutely horrible, horrible pitcher I'm so glad we have Phil Hughes and not this piece of sh*t. While he's busy shutting down the Angels, Phyllis is at home watching The Office on dvd yucking it up with his buddies. Gotta love it. |

That's bullshit. It's more likely that Philip is blogging. |

Shut up, ya'll!! Jon Lester is overrated because he had cancer! He isn't a good pitcher at all, scouts and media just say he's good because he had cancer and they feel sorry for him. Don't you guys know anything? Hughes is a power pitcher. His velocity is down because it's cold. He threw 94 against the Texas Rangers, didn't you guys see it? (I didn't, but I checked GameDay and it's true, trust me you guys!) PS. Matt Smith, Josh Phelps, Juan Rivera, and Wilson Betemit are also fantastic. :homie: |

I thought you were the Claussen boy. Lester was hitting 95 last night. When I made the comments I did about him he was 88-90 topping out at 92, and he was walking a ton of people. He is a completely different pitcher now. It doesn't take a genius to see that. Same can be said for Hughes only the opposite. And he did hit 94 against texas as well as several times this year. |
