Leave it to Cashman to select the only player to come back from Tommy John surgery and have a bad start, ever. What an idiot.

I was Jokin around since a slow day. Obviously 2 innings doesn't tell ya much. :peace:

Yeah, but Brackman will suck anyway. Him and Zumaya Jr. can share stories about how they used to be talented.

Strider, I'm sure you'll agree, I knew Andrew Brackman was going to suck as soon as I saw this:

You would post a positive line, trying to sway our opinions.

This thread was started with Brackman's first line. I posted his second. I thought I was contributing. I am a mere good samaritan...

Brackman's last game

5 IP 3 H 0 ER 1 BB 5 K's 63-42 P/S 6-4 GO/AO

Means about as much as a good AAA start by Ian Kennedy.

I agree and disagree. Kennedy throws 88 with an ok change and iffy control. Brackman throws high 90s with a really good curve and iffy control. Its more like a good Joba or Kershaw start in High A ball.

You sure Brackman throws high 90s? I'm not talking about 2006. I'm talking about what he's throwing now, post-surgery. And factoring in the automatic loss of 2-3 mph after entering the Yankee organization.

Supposedly he was topping out at 97-98 in instructs. I didn't factor in the Yes gun.

He'll hit that once and re-blow his arm out. He's Victor Zambrano, The Sequel.
