Word around the rumour mill has the Fathers looking to get below $50m and Peavy is a prime target to get traded.

I'm not crazy about Peavy, but Gonzalez would be perfect at 1B for us. Hughes is a bust, Cano is headed that way, and we all know guys like Kennedy, Marquez, Horne, etc. will never be anything. Maybe the Fathers will be stupid enough to make this trade. :dunno:

Abso-f*ckin-lutely. Potential ace, young power hitting lefty first basemen...sign me up. Could still even go after CC.

Peavy has a full NTC and has already said he won't waive it for an AL team. PUSSY to the tenth degree.

I voted yes by the way and as we all know I'm on Hughes' balls.

With that said there's no way San Diego makes that deal.

Agreed. Think about the two pitchers and two position players being dealt for each other in separate trades. Wouldn't happen.

Yes, that'd be a great deal considering the two faggets we're giving them.

How about Cano, Hughes, Horne and Kennedy for Billingsley and Kemp? Then sign Orlando Hudson to play second. I'd do that deal.

If the Dodgers go to the world series this year, and its starting to look like they will, nobody significant is going anywhere.

The Dodgers have absolutely no reason to make that trade. Billinglsey is twice the pitcher Hughes is, and Kemp is better than Canoo. The Dodgers are a playoff team and they aren't trying to lower payroll. If anything, they will probably add payroll this winter.

Torre will force them to make that deal.

f*ck yeah, I was thinking Cano for Kemp or something and was thinking about sending Hughes and others in another trade for Peavy if I could but I like this deal, then you get AG to play 1B as well. Good move.
