Desperate to stay in the playoff race, the New York Mets brought back their ace early and he delivered, pitching a three-hit complete game shutout that led them over the Florida Marlins 2-0 on a rainy Saturday. With the crowd standing and chanting his name, Santana (16-7) assured the Mets will play at least one more meaningful game at Shea Stadium. :-| Plug him in instead of rasner or ponson and take away Hughes/Kennedy loses (They'd be on Minnesota) and whatayagot? We'd be in the playoff, dat's what! :wall: |

Look likes all the worrying about Johan, after his 'horrendous' 2007 season when he pitched to a disgraceful 3.30 ERA, was a bit ridiculous. Even if he had a 3.30 ERA for us who the hell would not have taken that over what we got from those cumstains Hughes and Cuntedy and the guys who had to replace them? |

Well the imbecile could've overruled Cashman and his stupid brother and he didn't so he can shut up too. This franchise is run by a bunch of idiots as far as I'm concerned and Hank isn't excluded from that just because he pops off at the mouth sometimes. Maybe instead of pulling the injury excuse as the reason why we didn't make the playoffs this year he can criticize the dumb manager or some of the underachieving assholes. Instead he'd rather blame injuries and then talk about the Dodgers and why he thinks they shouldn't be in the playoffs. Direct your attention to where it needs to be directed. The GM and this terrible, disgusting underachieving group of overpaid, gutless cocksuckers. |

Yeah, I can't wait until Homie comes in here and talks about Santana's declining numbers, high HR count, and the similarities to the decline of Barry Zito! :bc: :bc: :bc: |

Zito was topping out at 88 and averaging 85. Thats why he sucks now. Santana started giving up HR yeah, but other than that there really aren't any similarities. |
