I'm sitting here and being the optimist I am, and having the blind faith that I'm guilty of at times, I can't help but think. If we can pull this one out of our ass and even despite the tough road schedule ahead, what if we get to Boston the last weekend of the season trailing by 2 games.......I know it sounds and seems impossible...but a 3 game sweep and then a home playoff game at Yankee Stadium for the Wild Card spot.  :suicide: :bag:

Stop it. If a loss today doesn't totally eliminate us, getting swept in a couple of weeks by the Los Angeles Coons of Compton will.

Done.

Of course mathematically speaking, it's possible, and in previous seasons I wouldn't declare them done yet, but they've shown no life. Why expect that to change?

I agree, no signs of life at all and Ponson and Rasner in my rotation gives me no hope other then math.

While I don't think this team will pull any miracles out of their ass, I haven't given up "for real" just yet. I'm just going to take it a game at a time and watch.

If we go into Boston trailing by 2 games and then sweep them then why will we have a 1 game playoff game vs them?

I know, and I won't. I really don't believe they have a shot, but I will watch and take it one day at a time. I almost hope they don't creep closer and get my hopes up. I could see this team having a run getting within a couple of games only then to lost like 4 in a row and f*ck it all up.

Concentrate on your Jets and their upcoming season opener. At least it is something to look forward to.
