I guess I should be happy about not facing Beckett, but we have our problems with Wakefield too. . . :dunno:

At this point, we need another Sweep. Go Yankees!

We have problems with everyone now, but we've given Wakefield more trouble the last few years than the other way around.

Yeah, we've actually been very good against Wakefield recently. Career wise he's 9-17 against us with a plus 5 ERA. He had a good stretch against us for a short period but lately he's been bad against us.

This series is very Sweepable. No Beckett, No Matsuzaka.

Pettite vrs Wakefield = edge Yanks

Ponson vrs Byrd = slight edge Saux

Mussina vrs Lester = slight edge Saux, although Moose motivated to get to 20

Bottom line is we NEED to sweep, Biatches!!!!

How are we hitting him so hard and not getting any runs?

7-3 so far and with this offense, it's as good as a loss... :crazy2:

Our season is toast. Time to start playing the rooks more, to see what we got. Maybe even peddle off some of the "free agent" vets who've cleared waivers (the vast majority of them we're not bringing back or offering arbitration, so no picks will be forthcoming). :wall:

We haven't put many big names through waivers yet, have we?

Clubs routinely put all their players through waivers to see who gets through. :peace:

I know that. I'm not stupid.

Hang on, I'll find the link to show I'm not talking sh*t.

Righto.

Those suits in the Bronx are so blinded by their conceit, they don't even recognize the Party's Ova and they should be offloading some of the veteran trash. :annoyed:

They'll have cleared waivers soon, with no time to do anything about it!
