So that schmuck says he can throw 80-90 pitches?! :bc: What a bitch, his manager says close to 100 and in Trenton his last start he was at around a 90 limit, what is wrong with this guY? :wall: |

I had to start it when I heard Kay say that Pavano said he's on a 80-90 pitch count. I was just going to start a thread about how silly Mr. Cool Cat is but I figured it would eventually turn into the game thread as well. Anyway, I am a little excited yes, the captain of the cool cats takes the hill the day after the Cool Cat Life timer took the hill!!! :dreamy: |

It disappoints me that they don't have the balls to make him stay out there and throw 200 or more pitches if that's what it takes for him to complete the game. |

200 is too obvious, but 125 in a tight game or something - Girardi could justify it and bust him. He's got enough money to retire. |

It would be obvious but I think the only justification they need for forcing him to throw 200 pitches is "he took the money then faked injuries and sat his ass on his couch while collecting checks for four years." |

Good aggressive play in that spot with 2 outs, the O's would to have done everything perfect to get him and they almost did but the throw into Hernandez was on a short up and it led to him not getting the tag down in time. |

I don't agree. Damon wasn't even around third when the ball was coming to the relay man. |

The O's did everything right and he was still safe, 2 outs in the first a chance to strike fist against Guthrie there, I like that move. I mean yeah the throw home was on a short hop, that is the reason the run scored but it scored none the less. I was yelling at them to send him there, I can't complain. |

You're probably right, since the odds are Giambi strands him. Might as well hope on a mistake, which is what happened. But I can't stand the unnecessary praise that comes with throwing one of our runners out at the plate. Kay would have been sucking their cock and the crowd would have been cheering, instead of realizing there was no way not to throw him out |

With Damon's arm, why are fielders letting him catch it? f*ck the CF calling off the fielders. I'd forearm him unconscious, catch the ball, and prevent runners from tagging. He did it with Abreu too. |

No doubt, if he's out it's not some kind of great play on the O's part, they just would have done everything right instead of f*cking up and making a throw off the line or short hopped as it was. Anyway, Pavano looked good after a shaky first two innings. Not too shabby. I have a feeling the pen won't hold the lead though. |

Good to see Guthrie out of the game. We've gotten to him for 5 but overall I like what I've seen from him. I'd trade that SoCal Soft Lesbian Hughes straight up for him in the blink of an eye. :fish: :hehe: |

Cool cat Pavano brings home the win. He'll probably get hurt, but I will root for him every time he goes out there because I want team wins. The pitching him 200 pitches until his arm falls off silliness(tm) is just that, silliness.(tm) I want wins. |

Yeah, YF just hates the guy with a passion and wants his arm to fall off. I think we can all agree, his most recent injury was legit, but the Buttocks injuries and the lying about car accidents or whatever and the other weird ailments, they were frustrating. With that being said, like you brought up, we need wins!!! If Pavano can get them for me, so be it. NOthing he can do (short of being lights out the rest of the year and winning a World Series MVP, :bc: ) can take away the years of injuries and sh*t, but damn it he's on my team and he's a f*cking Cool Cat! |
