These selfish azzhole NBA players. I have stopped watching the NBA, but I decided to watch these "super guys" jiving play after play against Argentina, who have their best two guys down and out, but Argentina did make their plays time and time again and these 'jive azzes" trying to glitter like gold, but stink big time. They could be good but they try to much to style more than trying to score as a team....I truly believe if Argentina had their healthy team they would have beat these duds....So much for the NBA.... :wtf: :bag: |

The NBA game is still the best game that there is, I don't care about these fundamentals and Jeterizms these other European countries have. I think Jordan changed our game for the worse, now you have a billion little kids who were growing up imitating and trying to play like him. Too many iso's the team game at times seems like it's gone down the shitter but you still have to love watching the greatest athletes in the world over here. |

I definitely don't like the International refrees. They suck big time. Let me say that these NBA guys could be much better if they passed around more and stop throwing these lobs wildly hoping that they could "style dunk". :no1: |

Jordan was the perfect player, but Vinbo has a point. Kids focused on his dunks and flashy moments, not that he was one of the most fundamentally sound, all around players who ever stepped on the hardwood. NBA4Life! |

Oh yeah, Jordan did it all. Made guys he played with better which is one of the most important qualities ever. Was a GREAT defender. Could shoot, pass, fly, EVERYTHING. But these kids who grew up watching him, they don't have all these qualities Jordan possessed. |

I loved Jordan and hate Kobe, but he's the closest to possessing all of those skills. The difference is he's not a real leader and not as much of a team guy (don't believe all of those feel good stories this past Playoffs). |

Like in any sports or any arena, when you win all of a sudden it's a sappy story and you are Mr. Team Guy, that was all bullshit and they sh*t the bed in Game 4 and blew that whole series. |

I give it up to the Celts, they put Egos aside and did f*cking work. Props to them, although I hate f*cking BOSTON, I don't hate the Celtics as much as I hate the Sox and Pats. |

I haven't looked at the score yet or anything. How did we look this morning? I use "we" for the Olympics, not pro sports. |

Because the college kids are far from being self-absorbed assholes. They're pure, until their name gets called on draft night. Then the metamorphosis commences immediately. The college kids are "we," they're us; part of the family Americana. But those NBA players, they're "them." They're detached from our society, from our realm, from this reality. Except for Larry Bird, of course. He was from Smalltown, Indiana. He was the every day everyman. Brought his lunchpail to work every day and everything. Thank God for Larry Bird, the greatest basketball player who ever lived. |

I use "we" for the Yankees, Jets and Magic, I could really give two shits about the Olympics. The reason I say that is I'm not going to go nuts, break my remote control, punch a wall, yell at pookie and down a case of brews if Michael Phelps or "the redeem team" doesn't get a gold. |

Are the magic really going to unveil a new jersey this season? What a f*cking joke. They have new jerseys every 2 or 3 years. |

I made that same point on a Magic message board, it's totally ridiculous, I hate teams that change jersey's like underwear!!!!!!! Their best uni's were the original pinstripped ones, those were the best and they should have just kept them!!!!!! Apparently there was a leak and this is what they will look like, a little old with new. IU don't like, just go back to the original unifroms from the Shaq and Penny days!!! Posted Image |

Actually I loved Jordan. When he retired along with Bob Cousy it left a deep void in my NBA watching. Oh I forgot Magic and Larry Byrd..... |

I totally agree and I'm proud of these minor league gamers and was happy to see them beat a nervous Japanese pro team. I just wish the Americans better selected some of their pitchers. Korea was very good too against the Cubans. I never thought Korea would win it all. May hats are off to them. |
