MY ASS IT IS

This is one of those stats that you have to check three times because it doesn’t seem possible. But it’s true. The Yankees have been held to two or fewer runs 40 times this season.

That’s 32 percent of the games they’ve played.

Their offense is pathetic. They actually get decent outings out of Ponson and Rasner, yet can't win.

Like my dad calls em, New York Blankees. They hit when they're down by a lot and score sh*t when they only need a run or two.

Just look at the game logs of some pitchers that have shut us down this year. Usually, their great start against us is sandwiched with ok, mediocre or sh*t starts against other teams. I'll give Burnett his do. He looked as nasty as I've seen him. But this team leaves the mistakes they get in foul territory or in the catcher's glove. Even Leiter pointed out how A-Rod's K was a pitch you gotta hit.

Same old story they pull in the playoffs each year, only they managed to swing it over a full regular season. Overhyped, weak asses.

Shockingly with the lack of production and injuries from Hughes and Kennedy and the injury to Wang and then losing Joba, this team hasn't had any issues on the mound. The pitching has been better then anybody could have expected. The pen has been more then solid outside of a bad stretch recently and Mo in tied games. If this offense was worth it's weight in value this team would easily be leading the Wild Card and probably be up there with the Rays and Angels fighting for best record in the AL. Very sad. :no1:

Yes it is. Even in softball. The American team went with their slower pitcher in the gold medal match and the Japanese girls scored 2 runs on her and lost the gold.
