Watching the game between Japan and Cuba and Darvish is wild getting in and out of mini jams, but allowing 4 runs. He gets the ball up and the Cubans have hit him hard when he does. When he pitches down he seems to get the outs, but was wild today. Anyways I don't see where he is above Matzuzaka. NO WAY.....

I hate to sound like my arch nemesis Homie, but Darvish's slider is dynamic. It's Joba like. His fastball is pretty good (90-92), his change also looks pretty good. His curve sucks, Jeff Weaver like.
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=h26pkQpVB1I - Check out the slider. Orgasmic. (the announcer saying "Daving catch" at 0:48 is hilarious!!)
I'd much rather go after Sheets or Burnett in addition to Sabathia. But if the Yankees sign him along with CC Sabathia, I'll be thrilled. But they better not expect him to be the ace pickup of this offseason.

I'm reading Darvish throws in the high 90s. If that's true, this is a whole different story

I didn't think so either, but it was popping up. Of course, they were blogs. You got a site that mentions specifics on his arsenal

No. Just watch the thousands of clips on him in the internet. Why the hell would you want to read a hype report?

I want to know how fast he throws and you can't measure how fast a guy throws without the gun. Do any of those clips show MPH?

LoL. Because I haven't watched more than 3 or 4 HL that haven't shown it. Apparently, he goes between 92-95. That's pretty good.
